Shortly past noon, Martin woke up promptly, feeling completely refreshed. Following a quick shower, his energy levels were fully restored.
After indulging in a specially prepared nutritious lunch, he hopped into Bruce's Escalade and set course for Malibu.
Leonardo owned a beachfront holiday villa, primarily used for extravagant parties rather than as his permanent residence.
Upon Martin's arrival, the villa was bustling with stunning models, all possessing striking looks, most with either blond or brown hair.
While some might doubt Leonardo's singular focus, his impeccable taste was unquestionable.
Martin swiftly changed into swim trunks for some beach fun and wandered out to the villa's seaside backyard.
Leonardo appeared in loose cotton pants, warmly welcoming Martin, "Welcome, my friend, enjoy this party." On looking around, he spotted numerous well-dressed individuals, many unfamiliar but undeniably attractive.
Notably, Martin noticed Jack Nicholson and Tobey Maguire, Leonardo's close friend.
Among the crowd, there were Martin and Leonardo.
Leonardo playfully darted beneath a tent, hiding various surprises under tarpaulins. He called out, "Everyone, Los Angeles's top hunk has graced us with his presence. Shall we extend a warm welcome?"
A troop of models rushed in with enthusiasm, leading the charge as Leonardo directed them under the tent.
Leonardo uncovered a lengthy plastic water gun, aimed it at Martin, and declared, "Fire with all your might!" Several models swiftly followed suit, joining Leonardo's exuberant assault on Martin.
Martin spun around and sprinted away, exclaiming, "This isn't fair! Where's my weapon?"
In response, a barrage of water jets from water cannons soaked him.
Leonardo seized a water gun, hollered at Martin, and commanded, "Emma, lead the left flank! Anna, take your team from the right! The rest of you, follow me and let's drench this mischievous Martin before heading into the sea."
Martin, drenched and laughing, scampered frantically towards the water, his muscular physique glistening in the sun.
Among the onlookers, a blond girl remarked, "The one leading the charge is quite handsome!"
Her companion responded, "Teresa, if you want to help him, you better hurry; no one else will assist him now. You might make a lasting impression."
Teresa Palmer, a 19-year-old Australian actress with years of experience in the industry, recognized the Hollywood star being chased. "Melissa, that's Martin Davis, the Los Angeles hero, and one of Hollywood's hottest young male stars."
Both hailing from Australia, Melissa handed Teresa a water gun and encouraged her to seize the opportunity.
Teresa grabbed an extended water gun and ran towards Martin, declaring, "Here! We're your support team!"
Martin heard her call and recognized a blond girl, somewhat resembling Kristen Stewart, approaching with two water guns. He met her halfway, and Teresa tossed him one.
Martin fired a test shot before Melissa reached him, drenching her and eliciting a surprised shriek.
Teresa hesitated for a moment, but Martin quickly calculated the water gun's trajectory. He turned towards Leonardo and pulled the trigger.
SPLASH!
A powerful stream of water hit Leonardo squarely in the face, splashing over his head and face, even making him choke.
Teresa and Melissa, along with a group of other girls, joined forces with Martin, opening fire on the opposing team.
Spotting Leonardo, Martin brandished his water gun and soaked him again. Leonardo, struggling to retaliate, proved less accurate than Martin.
Martin waved his hand and rallied his group, shouting, "Follow me!"
The models behind him advanced together, confronting their pursuers.
Water flew in all directions, resembling a torrential downpour.
"Surrender!" Martin addressed Leonardo, saying, "Ladies, your leader can't save you now. Join my side, and together we'll face Leonardo!"
With a grin, Martin added, "Don't you want to experience what it's like to soak a superstar with a water gun?"
At Leonardo's side, Sienna Miller yelled, "Rebel! Sisters, join the rebellion and take on Leo!"
"We're rebelling!"
"We're rebelling and switching sides to Martin!"
Dealing with a rising star like Martin Davis wasn't nearly as thrilling as challenging a superstar like Leonardo!
Over a dozen models simultaneously turned their water cannons on Leonardo, who could no longer hold out and dashed away.
Martin, holding a water gun in one hand, sprinted towards the shoreline, his belly gradually protruding, a joyful grin on his face.
As Martin pursued Leonardo, unleashing precise water jets onto Leonardo's back, Melissa cried out, "Aim for Leo's rear end!"
The female models initially positioned to flank Martin swiftly switched allegiances and turned their water guns on Leonardo.
Dozens of water guns relentlessly chased and drenched Leonardo.
Poor Leonardo, his oversized shorts were not designed for water activities, and they became heavy and sodden. Amid his embarrassment and frantic escape, they inevitably slipped down his waist.
Suddenly, Leonardo experienced not only the icy cold water on his posterior but also a chilling breeze. Realizing something was amiss, he urgently sought a moment of privacy.
Despite the situation, Martin kept a vigilant eye on Leonardo. He closed the gap between them, paused, pointed at the spot where Leonardo's shorts were slipping, and pulled the trigger.
SPLASH –
The water jet hit its mark, preventing Leonardo from grasping his slipping shorts, which now hung halfway down his thighs, further exposing him to more watery onslaughts.
Additional water guns fired streams of water to aid in Leonardo's involuntary bath.
With a comical plop, Leonardo tumbled onto the beach.
"Everyone, join in! Don't hold back. There's no second chance!" Martin rallied all the girls on the beach. "Let's go!"
Scores of girls stormed over, encircling Leonardo and showering him with water jets.
Martin wasn't done yet. He called out to Jack Nicholson and Tobey Maguire, who were similarly engulfed by models, "Jack! Toby! Join in and take on Leo! Come on!"
The two guys were eager to participate. They each grabbed water guns and led a small team to confront Leonardo.
Leonardo clutched his rear and yelled, "Martin, you rascal, I'm coming for you!" He grabbed a handful of sand and hurled it at Nicholson.
Then, the older gentleman remembered that he and Leonardo were on the same side today, and he hastily shouted, "Stop! Stop! Stop! Listen up, everyone!"
Tobey Maguire also yelled, "Hold on!"
Sienna Miller felt some sympathy for Leonardo and added, "Ladies, let's watch their duel!"
The beauties gradually ceased firing their water guns.
Leonardo pulled up his oversized shorts, covered in sand, and stood up on the beach. Ignoring the discomfort, he glared fiercely at Martin and challenged, "I want to settle this with you!"
Martin swapped out the water gun's bladder for a fresh one and quipped, "Gun or bare hands, it's your call."
Leonardo wasn't a fool. The adversary across from him had once used a water gun to fend off gangsters and helped capture Russian spies. Whether by gun or hand, the outcome was the same: a thrashing.
Martin fiddled with the water gun and suggested, "I'd advise you to choose a water gun."
Upon hearing "gun" again, Leonardo was struck by an idea, exclaiming, "Why bother with a pitiful water gun? Let's settle it with real guns!"
Tobey Maguire became alarmed at this proposition and attempted to intervene but was halted by Nicholson, the elder statesman of their trio. "Don't worry."
Martin grinned and inquired, "Are you absolutely certain you want to challenge me? I'll pummel you with a water gun until you can't lift your head, and then I'll trounce you in a shooting competition..."
Leonardo tightened his waistband, clapped his thighs, and declared, "Today, we must settle this, and the loser must publicly admit that they're inferior to the other."
Nicholson grew intrigued and shouted, "Come on, let's be the referees."
Leonardo grabbed a water gun and taunted, "Martin, you rascal, let's see who's quicker!"
Everyone present, including Sienna Miller, who had been cooperating with Leonardo, looked on in astonishment, all sharing the same thought: "This is unbelievably shameless!"
Martin struggled to find words, taking his time before finally saying, "Leo, you're really pushing the envelope with this challenge."
Undeterred, Leonardo proclaimed, "If you don't accept the challenge, you're forfeiting!"
Martin realized there was no escaping this unusual competition and proclaimed loudly, "Martin Davis is no match for Leonardo DiCaprio!"
