The next morning rolled around, and King woke up to a mop of hair in his face and wrapped in a death grip. He looked down and saw Annabeth on Chastiefol wrapped around him. He sighed to himself and wiggled his way out of his hold. He made his way to the kitchen area where he was met with the smirking faces of Luke and Thalia. "What is wrong with your face?" King said bluntly. "Looks like someone has a little girlfriend." Thalia said as she snickered at the younger boy. "Personally I would have thought it would have been the hunter girl." Luke replied, still smirking at King. "Guys I'm only 7 so is Annabeth. To top it all off Zoe is a hunter. Do you understand what I'm saying?" Luke and Thalia shared a look. "You better not hurt Annie or I'll electrocute you." King sighed and proceeded to walk outside. As he opened the door he was met with the face of one of the hunters. "Excus- oh it's you boy we were wondering where you all went. How did you all get this house?" "I am a child of Demeter. My nature powers are just more aligned with trees and wood manipulation than other plants. Would you like to come in?" The girl shook her head. "No Milady wanted to invite you all to breakfast, boys included for whatever reason." King nodded his head and thanked her. He turned away from the door and walked back into the makeshift dining room "Hey guys- what in Hades name happened here." He was greeted at the sight of a laughing Thalia rolling on the floor, an unconscious Luke on the ground and an angry Annabeth with a dark aura around her hovering over Luke. "Umm, someone wants to fill me in." Grover just looked at King and laughed, "Luke couldn't keep his mouth shut and he received some womanly fury." King just shook his head at their antics. "Luke's ability to keep his mouth shut or not wake him up Artemis invited us to breakfast." Everyone that was awake nodded to him. Then Annabeth happily took a cold pitcher of water and poured it over Luke's head. Luke shot up instantly looked at Annabeth and said, "Why do you hate me to much I was just trying to ask about your Boy-'' Shut up!!" Annabeth yelled at Luke this time pointing her Dagger at him. Luke finally shut his mouth and they all made their way out of the makeshift house and to Artemis' campground.
"Welcome traveling Demigods and demigoddesses to our breakfast please enjoy it's the least we can do to ensure these maidens make it to camp safely. That means you must have energy." Artemis said. They all said their thanks. Harlequin had his plate and walked over to a fire and did his daily sacrifice adding Artemis to the list. ~To Mother, father, Lady Hestia. To lady Artemis as well for allowing us to join her for the meal.~ Artemis raised an eyebrow at the boy but said nothing. All the hunters sat away from the boys but some had to do it. The table was only so long and surprisingly it was Zoe. "Hello Harlequin. I do hope thou make it to thy destination. It would be a shame if you fell in battle before we have a rematch." King looked at her and agreed. "I do not plan on dying today. Or anytime soon for that matter. Hopefully when we have our rematch, you'll keep your cool a little more. Also it would be awesome to fight you with your water manipulation in full control." Zoe looked at him and Nodded after that they made small talk and finished their meal. "This is where we part ways with Harlequin Liones. Be careful if she is the child of who I think she is you will be having troubles." Zoe told King. "She is his daughter. And I already expect us to have troubles." King said to Zoe. "Good luck." With that Zoe hugged King very quickly and very awkwardly. "See Ya around Miss Nightshade!" King yelled as they walked. King turned around one last time. "I forgot to give you back your knife!" He exclaimed. Zoe waved it off. "Keep it I'll get it from you once I defeat you in Battle!" She shot King with a big smile before pocketing the knife and they went their separate ways. "Watch out Annie looks like you have some competition." Luke said as he jumped back from the jab of a dagger. "Shut it! Or I'll hurt you! Also don't call me Annie!" Annabeth shouted. They all laughed at Annabeth and Luke's antics and continued on their way.
Time Skip 1 week later
King and the rest of the group had been on the run after they left the hunters; they had been chased by waves of monsters. "These creatures just keep on coming!!" Thalia yelled as they kept slicing through monsters. "Yeah, it's almost like a Daughter of Zeus is prime monster bait so something?" King said sarcastically. Luke snickered and then got slapped on the back of the head. "Ow why did I get hit!" Luke yelled. "Because you should know better!" Thalia replied. The young pair of kids and Grover laughed at Thalia and Luke. They were in the home stretch currently treading through Wharton State Forest (a/n not sure if this is the real place that it happens at but it's a real forest on the east coast). They knew once they got into New York they could get on a bus and ride it all the way to Long Island. "Okay guys the forest gets a little thicker here so try to stick together." Grover told the demigods. They all nodded their heads. "You know killing those hellhounds makes me tired. I want to take a nap." King announced laying back on Chastiefol. "You always want to take a nap." Annabeth scolded. "You don't see me complaining every time you sneak onto Chastiefol with me and lock me in a death hug do you. I can barely manage to get out of them." King said. Annabeth's face turned a little pink and said, "That has nothing to do with this Dummy!" King shrugged at the girl. ~This is where Annabeth develops her fear of Cyclops. Soon we will be attacked and forced to split up.~ King thought and sure enough he was right a hellhound's claw came slashing down. King pulled Annabeth on to Chastiefol and dodged the blow. "Go get away from it!" Luke yelled. King took off on Chastiefol with Annabeth evading the hellhound as that happened another one snuck up and attacked Grover, Luke and Thalia. The three ran the opposite direction. Back with King and Annabeth, King had used his Elucidator to dispatch the hellhound. "Come on Annabeth let's go find our friends." Annabeth nodded her head in determination.
They flew on Chastiefol and found an abandoned mansion in the middle of the forest. "They are here. I can sense their auras. However, they are not alone. Let's move quickly and quietly." King opened the door and the duo made their way into the house. "Oh dear Annabeth, your home! We are in the kitchen lovely." A man's voice was heard throughout the house. "Daddy?" The young Annabeth asked. "Yes dear we are in here. I have met some of your wonderful friends." The voice replied before Annabeth could take off running to her "father's' ' voice King stopped her. "Annie Listen to me, that is not your father. A cyclops is just mimicking him." "But how would they know how he sounds?" King sighed. "They just manipulate their voice to sound like someone you love. Annabeth please trust me." King said, gesturing for her to get behind King. The pair made their way into a kitchen-like area there Grover, Thalia and Luke sat hanging over a fire. "Oh gods you were right." She whispered to King. They heard the booming voice again " Come along dear Annabeth it rude to make your father waiting." A massive Cyclops came into view. Once it stepped out of the way of their friends King and Annabeth jumped into action. Annabeth with a fury like none other stabbed the monster in the foot making it limp. ~Vertical Square!~ killing the monster after his four-hit combo. They rushed to untie their friends. "Thank gods your okay." Annabeth and Thalia said at the same time, hugging each other.
However King broke up the moment. "We have to go now! I can sense a huge amount of monsters coming and 3 of them are very strong! We need to move!" He yelled. They all looked at him in shock, not seeing this side of him before. King gestured for all of them to jump on Chastiefol it was a very tight squeeze, "This is the quickest way to get to Camp hang on!!" King announced as he motioned Chastiefol to take off. They were zoomed at about 60 miles per hour and King could feel it on his Mp the more people he transports the more it affected him as well it seemed. Zooming across the last of the states they crossed the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Border then the New Jersey/New York border. Half blood hill was almost there; they stopped on the outskirts of Long Island. "Why didn't we move like that before?" Thalia asked, jumping off Chastiefol. She got her answer when she saw an exhausted King laying on Chastiefol. "What's wrong Harlequin?" Annabeth asked fussing over King's form. "That just takes a lot out of me." He said panting. "Anyone have some nectar or ambrosia?" Luke rummaged through his bag and then said. "Only a sip left. Wouldn't be better if we just get you to camp to rest." King shook his head. "If i am right the ones hunting us down at the Lord of the Dead's Torturers. They will be waiting for us there. We should find a hotel so that we can rest before the fight. I rather fight them during the day when I have Grandfathers backing that at high when they have Lord of the Dead's power of darkness." King spoke carefully, not saying any names. The rest of them froze face as white as snow. "Why would he be after us." King shrugged his shoulders, not giving anything away. The group started heading toward the populated area of Long Island and found an inn for the night King paid for everything including the room and food.
Once all the guys are in their room Grover asked King. "What are you not telling us King?" King looked at him. "What are you talking about?" "I know you are hiding something tell me what we are a team just let me know." King kept staring at Grover. "Once we get to the hill of Camp half-blood just focus on getting them all inside the camp. No matter what get them inside the border." King spoke calmly. "That goes for you too Luke, I do not care how you do it just get them into the camp border once we get there do not stop for anything." "King what are you talking about!!" Luke shouted at him. "I want you both to swear on the Styx that you will try your best to get the girls and yourselves to camp then I'll tell you everything." "You are coming to camp to right!" Grover demanded an answer. King gave them a bright smile. "Of course, I'll make it to camp too! We're not just a team anymore but a family!" Grover and Luke reluctantly agreed and swore on the river with a boom of thunder signaling the oath. "There were about a hundred auras I felt when we were getting chased. They were all homing in on Thalia because Her father broke his Promise." King spoke softly. "I am going to fight them while you all get to camp. I'm doing this for you all they want Thalia, but they can't have her. She's an important person to me and I will not let them have her! So, I will hold them at the hill while you all run." Grover and Luke looked at King like he was crazy and started to shout protest. "It's too late I have decided, and you both have sworn on the Styx to get them there. So no one says anything until I say to run for it, okay? Do not explain what is happening until you make it to the camp border I do not care if you have to knock them out do not let them go out until the fighting is over." King said. "How will we know it's over?" Luke asked. "A giant purple cube will fall once the fight is over. If it shatters, stay in the camp and do not move. Also I am very destructive and it usually makes a lot of noise." King chuckled. "King, you do not have to do this, we can all make it together." King found himself shaking his head. "I have already decided that this is the best thing for us to do. I can make sure everyone is safe like this. Just trust me." The other two boys said okay and went to sleep. King found himself looking at the entirety of his stats taking it all in hoping he can make sure they all make it to camp.

~Helpful!~ King started looking through everything he had trying to make heads and tells of what he had left compared to what he could use. He pulled out a skill book that was essential to his plans.

A secret technique of the Demon Clan. It creates an indestructible cube. The size is dependent on the user. The cube and float where there the caster makes it only someone who knows the technique and is stronger than the user by 75 levels can destroy it. ( there are some expectations for this rule.)

King hit accept and learned the skill in front of him. He then took a drachmas and went to make a call. "O' Iris Goddess of the Rainbow, accept my offering and show me Chiron of Camp Half-Blood!" He threw the coin into mist and saw Chiron at the dining table. "Chiron I know you are eating but I need to speak with you." Chiron looked and spotted the Iris Message. "Ah Harlequin, it is good to see you. It has been almost a month, are you almost back?" King nodded. "That is what this is about Sir. We are in Long Island and almost to Camp we are just resting in an Inn before the travel there. But there is going to be an issue." "Issue?" King once again nodded. "We are being hunted sir by The Lord of the Dead's Torturers, it seems he is not happy that his younger brother broke the oath sir. The three sisters are after us with hellhounds. That is why I am calling. I need you to be at the border and be ready to grab 3 demigods, 1 boy and 2 girls, and a satyr. The girls will either be protesting or be knocked out; I am going to face them alone. Make sure no one tries to come help me. It will be safe once a large purple cube falls. If it shatters that means I have fallen in battle so lock down the camp." Chiron looked at him with softened eyes, " Are you sure Harlequin surely you all must be able to get to camp in one piece." King shook his head, " I am sure that this is the way it must be. They will not let us go without a fight and with Chastiefol's Ability I can stall. Also, if the Cube falls normally, I might need some protection." Chiron found his self-raising an eyebrow at King and asked why. King Chuckled and said, "One I will be so tired I could probably outsleep Lord Hypnos and two I will have an angry daughter of Lady Athena and Lord Zeus after me." Chiron found himself laughing as well at King. "Well young King, I wish you luck to come back to us safely well until the girls get their hands on you for being stupid which you are by the way." King nodded and swiped away the screen. He found himself-back in his room where Grover and Luke were sleeping. He spent some time looking at the shop to see if he could find something to give him the edge when he stumbled upon and diamond in the ruff.

~I will need this once I make the Perfect Cube. ~King floated on Chastiefol and slowly drifted to sleep thinking about the fight he would have to face the next day.
