Chapter 28: Chapter 28
The Next Day. 8:45 AM.
Suou opened a portal to the organization while in his bedroom. It was the first day of beta testing where they will send in the first seven thousand client players into Planet Genesis.
"Director, we're beginning the test. Should I open the portals now?" Suou learned that this guy was the Fifth leader named Konya Satoru.
"Let's begin." He agreed.
"System. Release the portals to all seven thousand clients!" Luo called out.
"(Ding!) Sending portals. Successful! Would the organization like to have visual?"
"Yes." Luo says.
Just like that they could see seven thousand little screens that showed the portals appearing before the player clients. Some were shocked by the appearance, while others seemed to have been awaiting its arrival.
Especially those who were in prison, it seems they have been counting down the days of the portal's arrival. The reason was because they each got a notification that told them the day of beta testing was arriving on July 2nd. That was something Yu Ru excelled in.
"All players have entered the Player Initiation Room. No criminal activity detected." Says the Fourth Creator, Ben. He happens to be a foreigner.
They continued watching. Not long after they only ended up penalizing five hundred people in the Player Initiation Room.
"We're set, reporting the different races entering Planet Genesis." Konya states.
"Reporting. Five thousand players have obtained the human race while the remaining two thousands have acquired a non-human race. Logging all players into the population system. Current Population has been updated." Ben says.
"(Ding!), The World God has leveled up! Unlocked new functions!"
So, he'll be able to level up since the organization is a part of him. Very convenient.
He'll take a look at it later.
"Keep eye on all seven thousand beta players and activate their systems. Let's see what happens." Luo demands.
It was getting rowdy. For now, all players were spawned in either a starter town or a naturally formed dungeon. From what he saw, a total of two thousand players did not choose a mode. It's interesting to watch different types of choices among them.
The criminals are the same. They either stuck to their natural habits or find smarter ways to do what they did on Earth. Suou turned away from the viewing screen, it was best that he did not watch too much of it.
"Keep up the good work." He told them.
Suou went into the world using the Spawn room. Its because he thought it was too early to go in as a player. He'll go in on the fourth set of beta testers. By then two more Continents should be added.
The reason why he came in today was to check out his new functions. He wondered what he gained after Edune Continent was finished.
"Notification Event: A God has descended. If any players or NPCs come cross the God they will immediately recieve a fear debuff that will lower all stats by double until the God leaves."
A see through screen popped up in front of his face.
What!! When did they add that! He's certain when he came here yesterday such a thing never happened.
The tavern owner looked like he would shit his pants the way he's reacting, "It seems my presence is going to be a problem." He mutters.
Since he's not a player, his status as a God is leaking out and will probably get worse the more he levels up. But at least it won't kill them with his low level.
The message was most likely seen by all players. Unfortunately, NPCs are not warned but they are given the same treatment as the players. Would explain why the tavern owner looked very much afraid of him. They should fix that. If anything, those who are close to the W.G.O should be excluded from such an event.
Suou ended up having to go to room 5 alone. He's certain the daughter would have it worse than the dad if she escorted him today. There he got to take a look at his stat panel by calling it out.
The first function he noticed was Portal Name Function. The portals he create will now have names. He just have to call each portal. An example would be if he wanted to access the portal for W.G.O. He'll just call it out anywhere he want to.
The reason for this function is because of the World Type function that was also added. To be able to call out a world portal that will transfer him between worlds without a problem. This will be very useful,
He's now a level four World God and there were only one new skill. It was what he had wanted for a bit. The skill was called Faster Building Time. According to the details it will halve the days it take for all towns and buildings to generate.
Thirty territories will most likely take only three days to generate. That's just an estimate though. After checking his functions, he prepared to go pack to Earth, "Access Portal, Earth." He calls out.
"(Ding!) Access Granted. Opening portal to Earth. The World God is now leaving Planet Genesis. System shutting down. Access to the system will no longer be available. Have a good day World God."
When he returned he saw that Yu Ru and Shi Fang had been at work. They didn't even notice his return because they were so busy. The reason he went back to Earth was to change clothes, perhaps packing up a night bag would be a good idea.
From today until next week, he'll be spending time at the organization. This was because they'll be planning for the new Continent and other ideas through the entire week. After packing his bag, he walked out the room to let the other two know about his business trip.
"You'll be gone for a week? Should we continue gathering employees and clients while you're away?" Shi Fang asked.
"That's right. Also, make sure you take breaks and relax some. You've done nothing but sit in front of that computer." Suou told them.
"Sure thing. We'll be sure to relax. You too boss. Don't work too hard." Shi Fang says.
Suou departed into the organization and was led to the tenth floor. They said floor itself belonged to the world God. He had to use his key card to get there. Everyone without one would got out through the same side. Since its a two way elevator on the fifth floor.
That was pretty cool to him.
They must have knew there would be a time he would stay here for business. So, they made sure it was like living in a resort, he even had a house keeper and masseuse.
Since the day was already coming to an end, he'll use his remaining time relaxing in the massage room they added inside the condo. After th massage, he came up to find a meal already prepared for him.
The housekeeper was just about to leave when he came up, "enjoy the meal, Director." She says before leaving.
It looked like she made him spaghetti with Swedish meatballs. Its something his wife used to make him all the time. Did they have information on him? He wasn't sure how he felt about that.
After the meal he sat down to watch some Korean Drama. One of his favorite shows is, "Big Mouth." It's pretty popular though there are mixed views on how it ended. Him personally, he found the show intriguing and especially loved the build up.
After the show, he read some manwha and found himself drifting to sleep. He shook his head and yawned. It was time to go to sleep because he had a long day tomorrow.
There was a knock at his door and Luo stood there holding up a bunch of binders. "What are those?" Suou wondered.
"These are some ideas of what you told us to put together. Their not guaranteed, but I thought you'd want to take a look." He says.
"I'll take them but I'll only take a look at the meeting. It's late, so I want to sleep." Suou told him.
"Understandable. We'll see you at the Planning Room tomorrow, Boss. Plus we'll have some reports to make on the progress on the first batch of beta testers." Luo added.
"Don't. We'll leave it be for another couple of days. I just want the bare minimum when that day comes." Suou waved him off.
"Yes, Director. Sorry for the interruption. Good night." Luo nodded before leaving.
Suou closed the door and made his way to his bedroom. It's unbelievable that all this is actually happening. He's afraid he'll wake up one day and it was all a very long dream. There's no way he'd want to go back to his depressing life state.
He climbed into the bed after turning off all the lights. He won't think about it and just enjoy the moment in hopes that he won't wake up from it.
