A Month Later. June 1st, 7:00 AM.
The goal to reach seven thousand had been reached. As a matter of fact they may even had overdid it. Now they had ten thousand player clients from all over the world ready to enter the Planet Genesis.
Today, Suou will be checking out the World Shop before opening the beta test. The beta test will be launched from the World God organization, this way he can see how it goes. They'll be keeping track of everything from there. Also, he will be checking in on the organization to see how much they got done within that time.
"Morning boss, you heading to the organization?" Shi Fang asked.
"Yeah, thanks for the coffee." He answers grabbing the ready made mug from the counter.
Suou opened the portal to the organization, it's like he was heading to his job, but this time he's the boss. Upon entering the usual system announced his arrival, it looks like they had made a some more upgrades and changes while he was away.
The reception area was the same, being manned by a woman and a man wearing id cards around their neck. He recognized the woman from the last time.
"Ah, it's the Director! Sir, I was told to give you something when you arrived." The woman says.
Suou approaches the reception desk, the woman pulls out a box and slide it to him. "What's this?" He asked.
Getting a package in a place like this? Did they add something he doesn't know about?
"It's your Director ID card. CEO Luo only set up this system for newcomers without id cards. Once you receive it, the system will stop announcing your arrival." She explained.
Wow, that's thorough.
"By the way, a lot has changed since the your last visit. The planning room is no longer on the first floor. All places like restaurants, entertainment, and such will be on the first and second floor. There are currently fifty floors now. So, the meeting occurring today will be on the twentieth floor." The man explains.
They seriously did a lot. If not for the signs showing where places were in the building, he'd probably would not have already noticed the additions to the building.
"Thanks..." He peeked at their name tag, "Xu Chen, Bai Lu."
"It's a pleasure, Director. Please head up, the leaders are waiting." Bai Lu says.
Leaders? As in more than one? When he got to the twentieth floor, he followed the signs that led him to the planning room. There was a woman standing at the glass doubled doors. He recognized her right away, "Secretary Liao Yong." He greeted.
"You're here, Director. The Five Leaders are inside, please follow me."
She opened the door and led him inside. When she did, something happened that he did not expect. It was like walking into another dimension. She waved him to follow her through the long corridor, until they reached a wooden door labeled, "World Room."
"Please." She says looking back at him.
Suou noticed the key card pad on the wall and used his ID to scan it. "Only you and the five Leaders have an ID Card to this room."
She explained that the room recognizes its owner with the ID Cards. When people enter the planning room they will not be able to enter the room and be directed back to the entrance. It's very unique.
They entered the room which was a large open space. The north wall was lined with the viewing computers, the east wall had the planning area, and the west wall had more viewing screens.
"I have brought the Director, Main Leader." Secretary Liao Yong announces.
What's with the the titles? He's noticed it, but it feels like a real organization. Someone impressive has been hired as an employee, he wonder who they are.
"Welcome, Director. It's been a month." Luo Jin says greeting him with a handshake.
He beckoned for him to come closer, "here's a list of the things we have been creating. We made a full report and you'll be surprised by how much we managed to get done. Though we only managed to touch basis with the quests, reward, and item system. We still got a lot finished with normal and story quests." He says.
Suou took a look at their report, the book was pretty thick. If not for these guys the work of creating Edune would have take a long time. They dealt with a lot of things ranging from the kingdoms, cities, villages, and towns. They even dealt with dungeons and their environment types. It was pretty impressive how skilled these five were.
The Leaders that everyone been talking about, its should not be a surprise that its the five people he first brought to this place. There are now over thirty employees working in this building. Some are related to the Organization. While others are ordinary people who knew nothing about the other floors.
So, that explains the way things were set up. It's like living on a planet, the building itself is a world with homes, places to shop, even places to have entertainment. It's far beyond what he imagined it would become.
"Here's the data collected on screen." Luo says.
On the screen he saw an organized data collection of Planet Genesis. It looks like the system version on the planet.
Suou pointed to one of the viewing screens, "Isn't this the Player Initiation Room?" He asked. How did they get access to that subspace?
"That's right. Thanks to the Director, we were able to gain access to any subspace related to Planet Generation. If you look at the rules and regulations this does not overstep any of them." He points out.
No, he's right. As long as it has anything to do with Planet Genesis, they had access to it without having to ask for Suou's permission. If they stepped over the rules the system will kill them, since that's the only way out. Through death.
"Alright, I understand. Continue on then." Suou says.
"Thank you, sir." He says.
These guys, since long ago have not once treated him with low respect. It feels unreal how much his life has changed. It started off with creating a fantasy world, and now he's a boss of a freaking organization that revolves around creating worlds that seem game-like. It's crazy unbelievable!
"So, we made some changes with the Player Initiation Room. It still keeps the basic system where the client gets prepared to enter a new world. The Gacha Roulette System is also the same to choose their race. But we tweaked the success rate of one becoming a race other than human." He immediately went into detail about what he meant.
The other four also added their own details about it as well. He should learn their names from here on out, since they will be the ones he keep in contact the most. The organization was still small with a total of twelve employees. It's still in its growth.
"We also found something interesting that we wanted to do. I wanted to bring this up, but I think we can have Player Employees enter the world through a different method. They will be sent into the world and are able to return using portals. We asked the system if its against the rules since usually if you're a player you can't create anymore. But they're not creators, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?"
That's not wrong. If they're employees, returning to the World Organization shouldn't be a problem. He'll have to go to the shop to see if there's anything that could help with this. But after this.
"I see. Until then, I'll continue with the report." He says with a nod. Its as though he was certain it could be done.
To put it bluntly they adapted to this life pretty quickly. Why is that?
"As I was explaining. Players will still have the basics. But now restrictions are much tighter. We'll have a team keeping eye on security who will add penalties upon any player out of line. Things like debuffs and status effects before entering the world. They may not be able to surpass a certain level or have horrible luck. It's pretty random." Luo continues.
This was way more efficient isn't it?
"Also, there's a better and effective method in getting seven thousand people initiated at once."
Once the players are considered citizens, the next step was race selection. All Players are trapped in pods that will link them to the system. With this they spin the wheel for their race, there's a seventy percent chance in human races. But there's a ratio among seven thousand players."
Out of seven thousand, two thousand will end up as a non human players who are spawned in a naturally formed dungeon that matches their non-human race. Once the race is selected from the spin, the player will get a system to match their race, which can be updated once a class is obtained.
This is something they done. A class can be obtained for a non race human just by completing the dungeon they are in. Most areas will have hidden classes and one would have have to be lucky or smart enough to stumble across them in the dungeons they spawn in. While human players can earn a class mostly by quests. They can be changed but its pricey.
It's totally shocking.
"Is that all that you changed for the Player Initiation Room?" Suou asked.
"Well, if you noticed, the system is what explains to them instead of the World God. We made it to where, all explanations will be given by a support system which will take whatever shape they wish once they are spawned into the world. This way, we can keep the World God an entity that is more like a legend." Luo points out.
"Wait, what does that mean?" Suou asked.
"I'll explain more in dept later. We're just getting started." Luo nodded over to the Second Leader, "Geng Mi."
