Chapter 14: Chapter 14
In the next two days, Suou had been helping Shi Fang and his nephew move into his apartment. He had a chance to sort out their sleeping arrangements as well. If he focused on tasks on Earth, at least he won't be just sitting around and doing nothing.
"Is that everything?" Suou asked. He carried a box into his apartment and sat it by the door. Today was the second day since he returned back to Earth.
Shi Fang and Yu Ru followed in after him also carrying in some boxes. These were the last boxes they had to carry. Once they were settled into the apartment, they had talk about the sleeping arrangements.
With only one bed room, they decided that one person will sleep in the living area, while the other will help rearrange the only bedroom. This way they have space to move in another bed. It's a good thing the room was large enough to do so.
"Thanks for letting us stay here. Although we had money to live in a hotel, we thought it better to live with you. While we're here, we'll focus on finding clients for you." Shi Fang says.
He was glad for their help. This will cut his time on Earth, but that's no problem since he could just laze about until upgrades on Planet Genesis was complete.After he finishes notes, that leaves him another day or two to do whatever he liked until his return.
"But Boss, are you sure we cant go in with you next time?" Shi Fang asked.
Ever since learning about the portal, both have been excited to see what kind of world they would be living in. "As I've said before, once you enter it's impossible to return. If you guys go in, who will find clients for me?" Suou asked.
It made sense. So they did their best to hold back how excited they were. "By the way, Boss. You've been here with us and helping us unpack. You don't need to head back?" Shi Fang asked.
"No, I should wait another day before going back. There's no use in going back just yet." Suou answered.
After bringing in the rest of their stuff, Yu Ru proceeded to making them a meal. When was the last time he had a decent meal? Suou encountered flashbacks to the times his wife still lived. She had always cooked his meals.
She was no brilliant chef, but her meals warmed his soul. There were times he missed his wife's food, today was one of them.
"By the way, Boss, how much do you eat? You look like you haven't had a meal in months?" Shi Fang says studying him with curiosity.
Well, he's most likely not wrong. When it comes to taking care of himself, Suou was lacking. Before getting fired, he mostly survived off convenience store foods. It's most definitely bad on his health. If he didn't want to meet his wife in hell, he should try eating more and healthier.
Yu Ru sat the food on the table making sure he gave Suou the majority amount of food. Looks like they made sure there was a sufficient amount of vegetables with some red meats.
Today was the first time since his wife's death since he had some company. All the friends of his past had long drifted apart from him, married, and had their own lives. Ever since he gained the ability to open a portal, his life has been a series of strangeness.
Now he had a dream. After the first world is creates, he will set up his own initiation process and choose to build his own kingdom. Since he's already considered a citizen, all he has to do was choose a mode and enter the starter town.
"Boss....Boss!" Shi Fang calls out.
Suou snaps out of his daydream, "What?" He asked.
"Wanted to let you know that Yu Ru and I will be unpacking our stuff. Tomorrow we will set up a computer system here in the living room. Hope the boss doesn't mind." He says.
"It's fine. You're roommates who are paying the bills for me. I won't complain about anything you do." Suou tells them.
For the rest of the day, Yu Ru and Shi Fang unpacked their things. It took the whole day. Suou, who had nothing to do, decided to help them eventually. When they were done it was around ten o' clock at night.
The next morning, Suou woke up at ten thirty. He took a shower and dressed up. When he left his room, he saw that the computer system had already been set up.
Shi Fang was sitting on the couch watching television, whil Yu ru sat at the computer. Suou noticed the packaged food sitting on the table and a pot of coffee already brewed.
"Today Yu Ru made you breakfast and coffee. Please eat in order to gain weight." Shi Fang says.
"Thanks." Suou sits at the table to eat. Once down he pulls out his pen and notebook. Before the portal is forcefully opened, he'll make notes for the next Continent.
With the first Continent focused on all seasons, he'll have the second Continent be different. There's a large desert leading into the second continent, so he wanted the environment to react to the heat of the desert.
This continent will be hotter in weather, which means one of the events would be desert storms. Of course the desert storm will only be a problem with closer territories. Another problem is hot rain. This meant creating a Plant system that can handle this weather.
The types of animals on this planet should mostly have a cold-blooded nature. They will be able to handle the heat of this continent. While there are rivers and lakes, they are usually boiling hot in some of the territories. That doesn't mean there aren't any cooler areas though.
Suou continued writing notes until the portal appeared on its own. The rest of the notes he wrote will be said to the system once he enters.
After skipping the initiation and arriving in the starter town, Suou was immediately greeted by the system as usual. He was glad to learn that all the newer territories were now created, along with the towns, villages, and cities.
The names of each were randomly generated. Once they were created; portals, dungeons, mines, nature, monsters, all of the things he made were randomly generated as well. To think the system thought to do all this before he entered.
Only ten of the territories made had cities, villages, or towns. The rest were territories that can be bought and claimed. Thanks to the systems hard work, Suou can start on the other continent right away.
So starting from the border of the largest desert which is sand. He will begin with the basics of this continent. First adding the environment type.
Suou pulled out his map and told the system to add the border line next to the desert that split the two continents. Next, he marked spots to see how far the effects of the desert will go. With how much mana this desert has, if he's being realistic, at least about twenty territories will be affected.
Climate changes, monster attacks, even certain types of illnesses related to the desert could occur.
"System. For the new continent the environment will be mostly hot weather. Add the Desert storm that will be able to cover twenty territories. These storms will bring in monsters that cause damage." Suou informs.
"System Notification: Creating a hot environment for the newest continent. Successful! Adding a new event type, Desert Storm, in the largest desert. Successful!"
The things that were put into the world database had already generated into the new continent. So, he only had to focus on creating new things.
He had the system add a different plant, tree, and herb system for a hot environment. There will also be different diseases, illnesses, and forms of cures in this continent.
Not until he finished adding the basics of the continent did he plan to leave the portal. Today he wanted to accomplish things at a faster rate from when he made Ailai Continent. Speaking of he should come up with a name for this continent. Like Ailai, he will come up with the name himself.
"System. I wish to name this new Continent, the Edune Continent." Suou says.
With this he named the newest continent. It was now time to get to work with thoughts of adding a few new ideas into the world database.
