"Why isn't he waking up?" echoed through their collective thoughts as they stayed in anxious silence.

Isolde, grappling with desperation, placed trembling hands on Azrael's shoulders, initiating a gentle shake while her anguished cries filled the room. "Azrael! Wake up now, please! Azrael!!" Tears streamed down her face as she tenderly caressed his cheek, yet he remained motionless, his eyes shut tight, face devoid of emotion, and skin as pale as freshly fallen snow.

In a soft, pleading whisper, Isolde continued, "Azrael... please get up... Azrael..." Her tearful plea accompanied the burying of her face against his chest, the streaming tears a testament to her heartache. Though muffled, her words resonated with raw emotion, audible to all who surrounded her.
