Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Transmigration
I reappeared in what seems to be a space ship of some kind, heading towards what appears to be earth.
I notice a screen with symbols that I was somehow able to translate into 16 hours and 34 minutes remaining to atmospheric entry.
While I was waiting I figured I'd try and find the data chip that was supposed to tell me what I needed to know about my backstory.
However I was having a bit of trouble as I was trying to get used to my new body, and it's not like if you became an animal and didn't know how to walk.
It's just I wasn't used to the size of my body so I was struggling.
as I'm monologuing I see a glowing purple chip that I just know is what I'm looking for, and same as before I know where to insert it to receive the information.
as soon as it slides into the slot at the back of my neck I'm assaulted by all sorts of information about this body and it's functions as well as my backstory.
apparently I'm the last cybotronien to exist,all though the other cybernetic species still exist now apparently, we were all wiped out by a black hole, krypton style.
and I was off world trying to form a peace treaty with the kree for a trade route through a newly formed sector.
The earth year is 2000 and as I've just learned, I'm heading straight for the Hudson River in New York.
New York, Superhero capital of the world, though by my sources not just yet as Tony Stark has only taken back his company and no word of any of the other avengers has been released.
As I'm coming to terms with this information, I start nearing satellites and realise I had been downloading information for 15 hours, and to say im surprised is an understatement.
The first thing I did was steer clear of the satellites and prepare for gravity to bring me into orbit.
As soon as I entered the atmosphere I was shown a message on the screen saying the ship and everything in it would vaporise, I shit myself (metaphorically speaking) and eject just as the atmosphere pushes against the ship and turns it into powder (literally speaking) and I remember an important part of the first transformers movie,
when the transformers come to earth they come transformed as comets/meteors and so I thought to do the same.
Now imagine your body and then think about what it would feel like to contort into a sphere,
that's pretty much what it felt like except no pain which is awesome, but feeling your body shrink and contract into odd positions feels pretty damn weird.
As I'm thinking all these things I see a city with a decently large body of water as it approaches I brace myself for impact and when it comes I scream out in pain " MOTHERFUCKER THAT HURTS LIKE A BITCH".
I hear clunking metal as I feel myself return to my original form, all of a sudden I'm hit with images of places I've been to and the things I've done in the last what does this information say 20 millennia, 20 millennia? 20 Fucking Millennia!!!
I just sit there at the bottom of what I assume is the Hudson and contemplate what all of this means, I can remember myself laughing with beings as large as myself and fighting on battlefields against multiple different enemies and apparently Asgard is included in that.
I apparently went head to head with a young Odin and Hela in their conquest of different realms and managed to make both retreat, all of this different information rushes to me and shows my battle style, friends, enemies and family.
I begin to tear up thinking about it all, slowly but surely I acclimate all of this knowledge and with a deep raspy voice with a metallic lilt to it I say to myself,
"I may not truly be the owner of this body but I thank you for all you have accomplished and brought forth in this life, I will do my utmost to protect our name and to destroy all enemies that enter my path to uphold the name of,
Genesis Prime.
