Write a reviewAt first I didn't really mind the monologue and self pity the MC did, but at some point it's starting to become hard to bear with it. Btw, if you're looking for a good MC, this ain't it. The MC starts to become like a villain at around 300 chapters. I mean this MC kills someone that supports and help him for a few years due to the fact that this guy made a decision that kill someone that MC care for. I would understand staying away or even straight up not having any contact at all but killing? FFS, MC straight up ignore everything else except for his own ego.
Reveal SpoilerA lot of potential. Really awesome world building and power dynamics. Seems like the view on humanity is pretty dark and selfish. Ultimately gave up when the author got to Woman getting pregnant to sacrifice their unborn babies as meat to live wealthy. A bit too dark for my taste.
the MC is an unlikable hypocrite, his character development is done horibly and reads as such, while the world is interesting the characters... specificly the MC pulls the setting through the mud
The story, the powers, the background, that characters, the everything is a 5/5. This is honestly such a good novel its insane. Its not drenched in countless gruelling fights or unimaginable horrors but it just feels right. The pacing of the story and the quality of everything is just insane. Best. Novel. Ever.
This is one the best fantasy novels out there. Unique in every aspect and free from many clichés. It's gold.
I really like the story every thing about it is good especially how nick think to himself or plans for the future is the most entertainning :D
The writing is top notch but I will say in general if you read enough prepare yourself I thought some dark moments add spice to the lore but that all crumbled I feel like some lines are just not ok to cross even in such a dark world not saying don’t read but be prepared it has greatness right beside the stuff of nightmares I’d say skip when you see the Red Sea I very much wish someone would have told me to skip a little there
Reveal SpoilerWarmaisach, as always, delivered an amazing work. His characters are always amazingly written and the way he always surpasses or completely subverts expectatons is unreal. Read it, it's amazing.
This novel would be amazing if the protagonist didn't have such bad character development. The world is amazing, the power system is amazing, even the fights are good. But for some reason the main character is poorly written. I really can't understand. This author should ask for some advice from other authors
Great Novel, I've read all his novels and love all of them. i would prefer a less hypocritical MC, But i also love it when Novels are realistic. you gotta understand that not everybody has the same mindset. Klein couldn't bear to see King George Augustus III ascend. but i personally wouldn't have cared, if i was him.
I think what I love most about this author is how outside of the "norm" the character's perspective and development is, especially in comparison to other works featured on this platform. Even though it's a fantasy novel, it is very gritty and raw- feels real. I, absolutely, adore the creativity when it comes to world building and there is definitely a unique style to the writing that makes it easily identifiable as Warmaisach. Thank you author, much love ❤️
it's a truly good book but the main character is literally the type of person i hate the most. he's a hypocrite and sadly i can't read books where im genuinely rooting for the MC to just die. i can't stand to see the world from his perspective. it's like being an Arsenal fan 🤮🤮🤮🤮
This story starts promising but quickly becomes trashy. MC is just stupidest complex hero who’s also a hypocrite, disgusting.
Really incredible work, the author has consistently delivered great chapters. Having read the rest of the books i do find some similarities, but unique challanges and setbacks made the story one of a kind for me. Knowing how his other books ended, i’m waiting with great interest to see what he has in store for us.
So I'm reviewing this as someone that has caught up basically. I think the world is extremely well written but this is a flaw, I think the scale is not too well established, because most of the conflict stays very stationary, and only in the later chapters does the world's size get explored. cities as a concept, and how many there are, is a bit murkey. in this story the characters are fairly compelling but I think that the first big twist is layed out but not accentuated, so it throws people off. the ground work is there, but when the twist happens, it feels out of character in the moment. the build up subject seemed obvious, but the mc reaction felt very over exaggerated. I thought that mc knew of the betrayal, or at least expected it. there were many hints of it before hand, and it seemed like he knew with the distance created between the two characters. his naivety should have been pronounced around how he doesn't suspect his boss, or he should have had an inner dialogue in the moment. after this the author ran very well with the dark perspective. if you feel shitty after reading the twist, take a step back and come back after powering through the twist.
Reveal Spoileri didnot read this but i did read the other works of the author did he say anything about how many chapters did is this work going to be i am waiting for it to be completed first
This is an amazing story!! The plot, the characters, and the setting…everything is gold!!!! This is so professionally well done that I wonder how someone could have written such a story. The writing pulls you in, and the plot twists are so amazing! Like you know something has to happen, but you would never have expected that!?! I binge read all available chapters and got so sad when I reached the end of published chapters, and even though it hasn’t ended yet I can see this being one of my top 3 favorites. In my opinion, this is as good or even better than Shadow Slave and all those other top novels on here.
Great world building, incredibly interesting premise. But I cannot stand watching the main character go down a destructive spiral. I want to see at least a little bit of progress. I feel like reading after chapter 300 is like self flagellation. I’m not into that kind of stuff.
This is hands down in the top 5 best novels i have ever read, with its extremely unique worldbuilding. The story is always and i repeat ALWAYS interesting and the author never fails to update consistently.Definutely read this if you want a little serious but neverthless adventure in an amazing new world.
I’ve been reading the authors works since I was a sophomore in high school and now I’m becoming a sophomore in college and through it all I looked foward to every chapter that released. Top tier shit yk.
It has a lot of potential but the author keep repeating those nonsense arguments about humanity , I have nothing to do ,I want to die, just making the story very boring there is no positive character development ,if he want to become tyrant then become one don't try to be soft it's just make it more disgusting
This is becoming one of my favourite novels ever i cant wait for this masterpice to get the credit it deserves
absolutely amazing. from world building to characters. from writing to grammer. from story to plot. this is a masterpiece❤️
