At 1 a.m., Jaylene Ziel, half asleep, heard faint footsteps in the room and instinctively reached out to turn on the table lamp on the bedside table. Then, a familiar figure appeared in her vision.

"Didn't you say you were not coming back tonight?" Jaylene rubbed her eyes and smelled the man who was approaching, "You stink of alcohol. How much did you drink?"

Joseph Thompson smiled, "Didn't drink much, but a pregnant woman's nose is sensitive. I originally planned to sneak in and take a bath without a sound, but you heard me as soon as I entered the door."

"Sneak in without a sound?" Jaylene gave him a glance, propped herself up with her hand to sit up on the bed, and didn't forget her first question, "Didn't you say you weren't coming back tonight? Why did you run back here?"
