Chapter 678: Chapter 0677: Are Your Family Made Up?

It was raining, and the outdoor food stall was packed with people. Joseph Thompson and Jaylene Ziel were arranged at a table under an awning outside, a round dining table meant for six.

The two sat close together; the food stall mainly served small stir-frys without big dishes. Jaylene happened to like stir-frys as well, so Joseph ordered five dishes and one soup.

"Why did you order so many dishes?" Jaylene glared at him, "Can the two of us even finish it?"

"Anyway, we don't have anything else to do later, so we can eat slowly. Besides, not all the dishes are meant for filling up on rice," Joseph gently patted the back of her hand, comforting her.

Sure enough, not all the dishes were meant for filling up on rice because the first dish that was brought to the table was a plate of river snails. Jaylene stared at the dish, seeming like she had never eaten it before.
