<Noah - POV>
As I walked out of the church, it felt like my brain froze for a moment, trying to make sense of the scene before me.
The first thing I saw was Herissmon trapped in what looked like thick black wires wrapped tightly around him, preventing his escape. Not far behind him, I saw Patamon trying to free himself from the same black wires, but he wasn't having much luck.
The second thing I saw was on a sort of rolling concert stage on which were large speakers from which country music was playing loudly.
A little ahead of the strange truck, I could see BlackGarurumon trapped by those wires while an orange monkey was constantly banging his head, creating a small crater around him.
I frowned in confusion as I wondered why he hadn't already freed himself from the wires.
Then I noticed a small green blob right behind him.
TK had stayed hidden under one of BlackGarurumon's hind legs so the strange monkey wouldn't hurt him. That was why the wolf had stayed completely still, at the monkey's mercy.
'But why would it stay still if it's an Adult Digimon-'
Then a screen appeared in front of me, silencing me completely as I opened my eyes in disbelief.

An unidentified Digimon that suddenly appeared in the Digital World. He calls himself the "King of Digimon" and his fighting strength is beyond imagination. He is clad in his reinforced "Saru" Suit that can withstand almost any attack, and even today he moves around the world for the sake of his endless battles.

"A Digimon Perfect?!" I nearly choked on my own saliva as I held back the bewildered scream coming from my throat. 'Aren't they supposed to be extremely rare?! What's one of them doing here?!'
I let out a shaky sigh and looked at the strange monkey again, this time more carefully.
I guess BlackGarurumon must've decided not to move so that he could keep Etemon from fixing his attention on TK. Or maybe he wasn't strong enough to break the wires in the first place.
'I need to do something now!'
Quickly, I pulled out my Tamagochi and aimed it at Herissmon. I let out a sigh as I focused all my feelings on the hedgehog.
And as if he sensed the connection, Herissmon stopped struggling against the wires and turned to see me out of the corner of his eye with a smile on his face.
We both looked at each other for a few moments before a white light enveloped him completely sending a pillar of light into the sky.
[Herissmon Digievolved to... Filmon!]
With a fierce scream, Filmon replaced Herissmon's place easily cutting all the wires that enveloped him, causing Etemon to come to a complete stop to stare at him with narrowed eyes.
"Well, well, well! It looks like you've matured a bit, Bob!" Etemon said as he adjusted his sunglasses before smiling. "But you're going to need more than that to beat me!"
"You know what to do, Filmon!" I said as I quickly took one of Filmon's spikes in my hands and headed towards Patamon.
Filmon nodded with a smile on his face and fired a series of electrified spikes at a speed that was imperceptible to the human eye as he shot out towards Etemon with his claws glowing red.
Etemon let out a derisive snort as he grabbed his microphone by the wire and swung it around as if it were some sort of whip. With a quick wave of his hand, Etemon knocked each and every one of Filmon's barbs out of the way, blocking his attack completely.
However, Etemon hadn't counted on the new speed Filmon had gained.
In the blink of an eye, the large hedgehog swung his reddish claws towards the eccentric monkey. Etemon sensed the extreme danger of that attack and quickly bent his body in a strange way, barely dodging the hedgehog's claws. He then decided to leap away from the hedgehog with a great leap backwards.
Etemon landed abruptly on the bed of his truck and shot the hedgehog a murderous glare. "You're the Chosen Child's Digimon, right?"
"..." Filmon remained silent as he stared at Etemon.
He quickly swung one of his reddish claws, cutting the wires that were holding BlackGarurumon captive. The big wolf seemed to be knocked out, though, as it didn't move at all. This caused Filmon to shoot an enraged glare at the orange monkey.
'Chosen Child?...' A memory of the name Ogremon said echoed in my head, making me stiffen for a moment.
I kept an eye on the fight from the side as I finished freeing Patamon. The big-eared Digimon seemed to have been knocked unconscious due to the pressure of the wires around him. "Patamon! Wake up!"
I looked at the TK Digimon for a moment in the hope that it would wake up, but it was clear that it was completely unconscious.
I let out a sigh. "What now?"
A loud laugh brought my attention back to the fight between Filmon and Etemon.
"You don't say anything? That's as good as confirmation!" Etemon exclaimed with a smile as he turned on his microphone causing his voice to echo through the truck's speakers. "Let's start with the main act!"
"♪~!"
My mind was beginning to feel fuzzy as a strange melody echoed in my ears.
Suddenly I felt as if the world around me was distorting, as every part of my body seemed to weigh more and more.
"What is... this?!" my voice sounded like I was underwater as I tightly covered my ears in an attempt to protect myself from the horrible song.
[Dark Musical: Performs a song that breaks the opponent's heart and destroys their fighting spirit. If the song is listened to for too long, it can cause a Temporary Involution of the Digimon]
'That's OP as shit!-'
Suddenly it was as if the world was slowly losing its color. The edges of my vision were starting to turn a black color as the weight continued to steadily increase, causing me to stay glued to the ground.
I immediately realized that I was about to faint from Etemon's horrible singing. I turned my gaze back to the distorted stage to see Filmon with his eyes closed and covering his ears tightly.
I set Patamon down as I slowly walked closer to Filmon, but the closer I got the more my legs felt like they were made of lead.
Knowing that my voice would be useless in this situation due to the loud noise of the song, I decided to focus completely on Filmon in a desperate attempt to let him know what he should do through our connection.
'Filmon... destroy... the microphone...' I managed to concentrate enough to say a few words before the headache became unbearable.
The last thing I saw was Filmon cut off Etemon's microphone before the darkness claimed my consciousness...

<Filmon - POV>
'Filmon... destroy... the microphone...'
I opened my eyes suddenly as I channeled Crimson Slash into my claws and lunged recklessly at Etemon.
I felt the last of Noah's strength envelop me for completeness, giving me a little momentum that I wasn't about to squander!
"Crimson Slash!"
The monkey seemed to be so focused on his song that he didn't notice when I appeared in front of him swinging my claws in quick, successive slashes. His microphone was completely obliterated as my claws continued to slash across his arms, stomach and legs, ending with a final, but large X-shaped slash that went from his shoulders to his hips.
"Haa... Haa..." I gasped as I drew a few straws away from Etemon's tattered body with a smile. I closed my eyes as I felt my Data degrade, transforming me back into Herissmon.
I closed my eyes in complicity as I collapsed completely exhausted on the floor, I closed my eyes as I let out a chuckle.
"That'll teach you to not-"
"Interesting."
My eyes snapped open as I quickly turned my gaze back to Etemon.
I watched in terror as all the cuts made on his body regenerated in a matter of seconds, leaving his body as good as new as Etemon wiped the dust off his body.
"Impossible..." I muttered in disbelief as I moved backwards, feeling like I was living a nightmare. "B-Delete your data! I literally cut you in half! How are you still alive?!"
A mocking laugh came out of Etemon's mouth as he adjusted his sunglasses and gave me a smug smile.
"How interesting! I've never faced a Digimon capable of erasing Data before!" Etemon exclaimed excitedly as he did a little victory dance before looking at me smugly "And to answer your question, my body is constantly surrounded by my Saru special attack which makes me much more resistant to any kind of attacks along with a quite adequate regeneration for someone of my caliber don't you think?"
The smile on Etemon's face turned predatory as I felt cold sweat pour down my back.
'I-Is it even possible to defeat this guy?!' I thought in despair as Etemon slowly advanced towards my position.
"L-Lord Etemon!" Suddenly, a high-pitched voice interrupted Etemon causing the Monkey to look annoyed at one of the corners of the truck, which had not transformed into a platform.
A terrified Gazimon raised his trembling finger pointing at something behind me. "The wolf..."
""Um?""
Etemon and I looked back... to see BlackGarurumon picking up Patamon on his back along with TK. The wolf stood up with a growl as he lunged towards Noah quickly.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Etemon exclaimed making a jerky motion with his hands.
Suddenly, a large row of black wires erupted from the ground forming a sort of wall that blocked BlackGarurumon's path towards Noah and enveloped the latter in a sort of dome made of wires. The big wolf took a big leap dodging the wall of wires before giving me a glance but meaningful look.
Even if it was for a millisecond I could feel the intent of BlackGarurumon's gaze.
'... It's what Noah would have wanted isn't it?' I thought absentmindedly as I gritted my teeth.
And with no other choice, I could only nod remorsefully, knowing the decision I had made.
Without a word, the big wolf shot off in a random direction, leaving a large cloud of dust in its wake. And leaving Noah on the ground as the wires wrapped around him and slowly pulled him closer towards Etemon.
"Should we chase him?" Gazimon asked tentatively as he eyed BlackGarurumon suspiciously. "I feel like we're missing something..."
"Leave it, I already got what I wanted" Etemon shook his head before looking at me meaningfully.
The last thing I saw was an evil grin on Etemon's face before a loud punch put my lights out.
