Chapter 13: The Desperate Search for Izumi

At school, the teacher's announcement about Izumi's disappearance sent shockwaves through the students. Some who had noticed his struggles were genuinely worried.

**Concerned Student 1:** Did you hear about Izumi? I hope he's alright. He was always so quiet, but he didn't deserve something like this.

**Worried Student 2:** Yeah, it's really strange. I saw him getting bullied, but I never thought it would lead to this.

However, for Logan and his gang, the news was met with indifference and even cruel mockery.

**Logan (mocking):** Why should we care about that chubby loser? He probably just chickened out and ran away.

Meanwhile, Shikimori, who had grown close to Izumi, was utterly devastated by his sudden disappearance. She rushed home, her tears flowing uncontrollably.

**Shikimori (heartbroken):** First my brother, and now Izumi... Why does everyone I care about keep disappearing?

Overwhelmed by her sorrow, Shikimori confided in her parents, explaining the situation and passionately requesting her father to utilize their family's business resources to help locate Izumi.

**Shikimori's Father (determined):** We couldn't protect Fuji, but we'll do whatever it takes to find Izumi and ensure your happiness, Michan.

Shikimori's parents, tormented by their inability to safeguard their son Fuji in the past, were resolute in supporting their daughter and finding Izumi, no matter the emotional toll or expense.

**Izumi** wandered through the streets, desperately seeking answers about his father, Amane. His quest led him to a library that housed a vast repository of criminal records from the past.

**Izumi (to librarian):** Excuse me, I heard this library has records of past incidents, especially about criminal activities. Can I access them?

**Librarian:** Of course, young man. You'll find the archives on the second floor. Just follow the signs.

Izumi climbed the stairs and began delving into the extensive collection of historical criminal records. Hours turned into a blur as he pieced together the stories of past legends and notorious criminals.

**Izumi (whispering to himself):** "Legend of 1st generation" and the "Legendary Demon"... These names keep appearing together. What's the connection?

His eyes widened as he stumbled upon information about his father's demise.

**Izumi (shocked):** Amane Fujimiya... He died in a gangster attack. But what happened next?

As he delved deeper, he learned that after Amane's death, the "Legend of 1st generation" emerged, closing down the factory where both figures had last been seen.

**Izumi (determined):** That's where I need to go. Maybe I'll find answers there.

With newfound determination, Izumi left the library, heading for the mysterious factory that seemed to hold a vital piece of the puzzle about his father and the enigmatic Legend of 1st generation.

**Librarian :** Gun Park, it's me. You won't believe what just happened at the library today. There was a young man here, Izumi, who was digging into old criminal records, specifically searching for someone named Amane Fujimiya.

**Gun Park (shocked):** Amane Fujimiya? Are you sure about that name?

**Labrarian:** Absolutely sure. It caught my attention too. He seemed determined to learn about Amane's past.

**Gun Park:** (pauses) Thanks for letting me know. I'll handle this from here. Please, don't mention this to anyone else. This is...personal.

**Labrarian:** Of course, Gun Park. Your secret is safe with me.

Fuji, with determination in his eyes, set out to find Izumi. He knew that confronting this young man was necessary, both to protect their identities and to understand why he was digging into their past. After some time, he located Izumi at a local park, sitting on a bench with a thoughtful expression.

**Fuji (approaching Izumi):** Excuse me, young man. I couldn't help but notice that you were looking into some rather interesting matters at the library today.

**Izumi (startled):** Oh, you've been following me?

**Fuji (smiling gently):** No need to be alarmed; I'm not here to cause trouble. My name is Gun Park, and I couldn't help but wonder about your curiosity regarding Amane Fujimiya.

**Izumi (cautious):** Who are you, and why are you interested in Amane Fujimiya?

**Fuji:** Well, let's just say I have a personal connection to that name. Amane was a good friend of mine, and his past is something I'd like to understand better. I'm also quite curious about what led you, a young man, to delve into these matters.

**Izumi (reluctant):** I...I don't know. It's just that...I feel like there's something I need to know, something about my own past.

**Fuji (sympathetic):** I see. Sometimes, seeking answers can be a heavy burden. If you're willing, maybe I can help you find those answers without delving too deep into things you might regret. What do you say?

Fuji's approach was calculated, not just to protect his identity but also to understand why Izumi was so fixated on uncovering the past. He hoped that by offering his assistance, he could guide the young man toward the truth while keeping their own secrets safe.
