Angela immediately said, "I don't know what you're talking about. Gloria doesn't know those things. I mean she could only do simple things with computers. I don't know what happened, but don't try to levy unfounded accusations about her."
Angela acted like a real elder cousin. She had been defending Gloria and refusing to tell these reporters anything about her.
In fact, she was trying to tell them that Gloria was very good at using computers and was an excellent hacker!
These reporters got her reply and then would let her go. Sometimes, people were more curious about such an ambiguous reply.
They asked Angela a few more questions, which sounded like a trap for Angela, but Angela seemed to be on guard all the time. She was cautious with her speech, which proved that what they guessed was right.
