Chapter 98: Invitation

After enjoying coffee and indulging in some delightful sweets, including a surprise cake that Oliv had bought on the way, we retreated to our room for a relaxing evening.

Oliv and I made ourselves comfortable, and she suggested, "How about Netflix?"

I grinned. "Sounds good."

We scrolled through the options, finally settling on a show we both enjoyed.

We laughed, we made comments, and we both enjoyed just being together in our own place while the episodes played. The cake was a nice touch.

The evening with Oliv was both enjoyable and relaxing. But tomorrow was Friday. Oliv went to bed early because she had Friday classes.

It was late at night. I left the comfort of our shared space and went to the office.

I sat down in front of the computer screen and dug into research papers on superconductors.

I needed to learn more and not allow the side effects to take me by surprise.
