Chapter 144: Resolve

As Agneth left the infirmary, the Princess interlocked her hands in nervousness. She hadn't thought this far in life. Although she was in a different timeline, she hadn't imagined someone would call her by her real title. It caught her off-guard. She was lost in thoughts when Killian waved his hand around her line of sight. 

"My lady?" Killian called her in concern. 

The Princess looked at him in awe. She always had him around, and he always called her with respect. She gulped, wondering how she took her title for granted for so long. People were still willing to serve her nonetheless. It was truly astonishing. 

"My lady?" Killian uttered loudly. 

"Oh," The Princess snapped back to reality, "I spaced out there," She chuckled. "Killian, tell me about the apocalypse Miss Agneth was talking about."
