Chapter 64: Goodbye

Teresia opened the door of the Princess's room quietly. It creaked slowly, building a sense of panic in her that she might've woken someone up. But upon walking inside, she witnessed the two sleeping. The Princess was tucked inside blankets on her bed and Killian was sitting on a wooden stool beside the bed, sleeping with his head down. 

Teresia tiptoed toward the Princess and tapped her shoulders slowly. Killian opened his eyes instead of the Princess and looked at Teresia confusedly. 

"What are you doing, Miss?" Killian asked. 

Teresia pulled her hand away from the Princess. It was nice to see that her bodyguard had attention even while sleeping. 

Teresia smiled, "Should I not wake her up? I was here for a chat." 

Killian had a concerned look on his face. Seeing the woman smiling in these circumstances was unrealistic. 

"Are you sure about this?" Killian couldn't help but ask. 

"About what?" 

"Dying."
