Alternatively, an S-level task can get you up to 1,000 credits. Complete 50 of those, and you'll hit your target. But there's a catch: you need to be ranked within the top 100 to access them. It's tough."
Li Yang's hopes wavered, "Isn't there any other way?"
Feng Xuan leaned in closer, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, "Ever heard of the Ranking Tournament? If you can clinch a position in the top ten, you'll receive a whopping 50,000 credits. Moreover, you'll earn the coveted title of being the direct disciple of a renowned Master. Tempting, isn't it?"
Li Yang's eyes widened with excitement, "When's the tournament?"
Feng Xuan sighed, "It's in five months. You're not considering competing for the top ten spots, are you? That's audacious."
"Of course, I am," Li Yang declared with determination. "With my current strength, I can't compete with the top ten, but there's some time to enhance my abilities. For now, I need to head back to the dormitory and strategize. By the way, where's Lisa? Aren't you accompanying her?"
Feng Xuan's face turned a shade redder, "She's been distant lately, always engrossed in her classes."
Li Yang patted his friend on the back, "Keep pursuing your happiness. You've got this. See you later."
And with that, Li Yang left the tavern, a new sense of purpose burning within him.
