Chapter 178: Strength in numbers

Duke Henry waited until Evelyn was out of the room to speak. "What can I do for you?" He asked Micah.

"Do you mind if I take a seat?" He asked. 

Duke Henry nodded his head and Micah lowered himself to the large couch in front of the fireplace. "Do you know about the charm that Evelyn has had since she was young?" He asked. 

Duke Henry took a seat in one of the large wingback chairs near the couch. "I only know that it is special and it chose her when she was very young."

"Do you know how she came by it?" Micah asked. 

Henry shook his head, "I found it on her when I rescued her from her Aunt Carol's coven. I don't think any of them knew what it meant," he replied.
