Chapter 128: Creating a plan

"Tell me," Queen Loriana started. She was seated behind her desk in her large spacious study. She raised an eyebrow at Clyde and folded her hands under her chin. "When were you going to tell me that she is your mate?" She asked. 

Clyde shifted in his seat, "that has nothing to do with this," he said defensively.

"Of course it has everything to do with it. You would not waste the one of your favors for just anyone," she said with a smirk on her face.

Clyde sighed, "I guess you are correct," he said. "I just want her to be able to grow into the woman she is meant to be. You know yourself that she is meant for great things. That charm would not have chosen her if she was not," he said. 

"I see," Queen Loriana said. "I know all about what that charm means. She is meant to be one of our protectors and I will do well to train her, but when are you going to tell her that you are her mate?" She asked.
