"I didn't know. Why do you have to be so cruel to me? It's not my fault you have a maze in your garden." Ivy spat out angrily.
'It's not your fault, but the fault is mine.' Damian thought and sighed. "From now on, you'll only do indoor things and never go out unless I tell you to." He commanded.
"Isn't that house arrest?" She asked. "You have no right."
"You're my maid so I can order you to do anything. It's a good way it keep an eye on you." He grinned victoriously.
"Fine! Do what you want! I don't really have anything doing in the outdoors anyway." She stated and managed to sit up.
"It's great you know." He nodded.
"Afterall, I'm just a prisoner, it's not now I realized it." She said and forcefully pulled out the needle from her veins spilling out blood.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked, shocked at what she did.
"What? Don't act like you care, masters don't care for their servants. I'm worthless in your sight so just ignore me." She pointed out, not minding the bleeding at all.
'Shit, this damn girl!' he exclaimed within, gritting his teeth, wanting to go and help stop the blood from gushing out. "You're losing blood!" He pointed out.
"Let it. I'll deal with it myself." She tried to stand but couldn't stable herself and was about to fall but didn't with the quick intervention of Damian.
"You can't do anything for yourself." He stated and she pushed him away out of anger. She gained her balance and said,
"Who are you to tell me that? You own my freedom now but you don't own my life." She stated and he sneered at her.
Damian couldn't say anything about what she just said and did. He quickly stomped out of the room and slammed the door really hard.
Clover, Layla, Anisa, May and Nanny Feng watched as he barged out of Ivy's room furiously.
"Do you think she's the reason he got angry?" Layla asked.
"What else could it be?" Clover asked, not requesting an answer.
"Just like Flora. A day wouldn't go by without her making him angry." Anisa pointed out.
"She must be awake. Get some food for her while we go in and check up on her." Nanny Feng instructed and Layla nodded going over to the kitchen while the rest went ahead to her room.
May opened the door and they all went in to see her tying her hand with a cloth.
"Oh, hi!" Ivy said with a friendly smile.
"Are you alright?" Anisa asked concerned.
"We were so worried. How are you doing now?" Clover also asked.
"It's all my fault. I should've been more vigilant to have known when you left my side." Anisa apologized earnestly.
"Say something." May demanded and she smiled overshadowing her puzzled look.
"I'm okay. But what about you guys?" Ivy asked.
"What do you mean?" Nanny Feng asked in return.
"Well, I'm sure you got a scolding just like me from him, right? Not that I expected him to." She said as Layla walked in without the food.
"It's no big deal. It was just a mere scolding." May said.
"Mere?!!" Clover, Anisa and Layla asked in unison.
(FLASHBACK)
"If anything happens to her, you'll have me to contend with. How could you have let this happen? You are all supposed to keep a close eye on her. If she doesn't wake up again, I'll... "
"Calm down, it's just a minor incident." Nanny Feng tried to calm him.
"Nanny Feng, I can't let anything happen to her. Nothing can happen to her. And Anisa, you'll get detention." He declared.
(END OF FLASHBACK)
"Well, let's just say all went well." Anisa rolled her eyes.
"How long have I been unconscious?" Ivy asked.
"Three days." May answered.
Ivy couldn't believe her ears. How come she had been unconscious for so long?
"What?!" She exclaimed. "Three days? But I thought it was just a seizure because of hunger."
"That's what the doctor said but I think it's more than that. Were you ever sick?" Clover asked.
"Not that I remember. Only once when I caught a flu. That was like a year ago." Ivy said.
"Strange!" May exclaimed.
"Let's put that all aside, the food's here." Layla announced and Ivy smiled relieved, then she noticed what she was wearing.
"By the way, who changed my clothes?" She asked, taking in a sip from the soup.
"The boss."
As soon as May said this, Ivy quickly spat out the soup. She almost choked and started coughing.
"What?!" She exclaimed and May started laughing. One they you didn't see her so everyday.
"May!" Nanny Feng scolded. "Don't mind her, dear. It was Anisa who helped you dress up."
"Really? I don't feel all that comfortable with someone else dressing me." Ivy stated feeling really awkward now.
"Is it because of the scar on your thighs?" Nanny Feng asked, concerned and she nodded. "How did you come across such a scar?" She asked.
"I don't really remember. It was there when I woke up." Ivy said.
"I don't understand. Make it clearer." Layla demanded.
"You see, I've not told anyone about this yet. Only my aunt knew of my past. I don't even know about it." Ivy explained.
"Where's your aunt now?" Clover asked and Ivy's face turned moody.
"She died." Ivy said.
"That's tragic." Anisa stated trying to comfort her.
"You mean to say, you lost your memory?" Layla asked surprised and Ivy nodded. "When was that?" She asked further.
"Three years ago." She said and they all gasped
