The Blackwoods

Ever since they found out that Daniel was vying for the same land that Gabriel's company was also vying for, her husband had been on edge. He couldn't eat properly and was always out looking for more suitable lands. It was news of Emma's first exhibition that calmed him a bit.

Gabriel sighed as he dropped a peck on Rosalie's forehead, his lips breaking into a smile, "Well, that was what I was on my way to tell you, honey. The owner of the land just called and...I got it!"

Rosalie's eyes widened in surprise before she squealed and hugged Gabriel tighter with a huge smile on her face, "Oh my God! I'm so happy for you honey!" 

She knew how much that land meant to Gabriel. He had worked tirelessly to acquire it because that was what his company needed to move to the next level he was envisioning.
