Rachel's POV

"What?" I clamored in surprise at his statement. "Why didn't you inform me?"

"I thought it was obvious," he squeezed his brows in confusion and I exhaled in exasperation.

"Never spring up a thing like that on a woman again," I growled out the warning and left him to walk to the passenger door. "Open it."

"You are pissed," he tilted his head to the side and observed me as he unlocked the car and I climbed in.

"No shit Sherlock," I scoffed and folded my arms while he gawked at me from the drivers window. "Why aren't you getting in?"

"I need to pick up something," he explained and scratched his brow. "However I'm worried you won't be here when I return."

My heart slowly melted at his words and the vision of worry written all over his face as he said that. "I'm not gonna bail on you Lorenzo."

"Are you certain?" He inquired, doubtful.
