Edward Lopez parked the car at the entrance as well.
He stepped out of the car, handed the key to the waiter, and went in with Wendy Clarke.
After their invitations were checked, they walked in, but they hadn't reached the banquet hall yet.
Edward Lopez stopped and whispered to Wendy Clarke, "I've brought you in here, but the rest is up to you. Don't involve me in this matter."
"Don't worry," Wendy Clarke whispered back. "This is a deal between the two of us, and I won't forget that. I still want to cooperate in the future, so I can't let you down this first time and jeopardize our future collaboration."
Wendy Clarke had given up on having a relationship or marrying into the Lopez Family.
She realized that it was impossible.
Moreover, her relationship with Edward Lopez had unknowingly developed into a partnership.
That wasn't bad, either.
As for whether their relationship would change in the future, that could be addressed later.
