They engaged in a game of chase, him chasing and her escaping his reach. Scarlet couldn't help thinking that this was the most fun they had ever had together, in human and reaper form. 

The chase was exhilarating, almost as good as sex. The freedom was addictive. She didn't know how harpies and other creatures with wings were not in the air all the time. Perhaps Nyx knew what he was talking about when he suggested flying naked. 

She saw something that made her stop and hover in the air, and then she dove down at once. 

"Susu, wait for me." Esong went after her. 

She landed on the balcony of a flower shop and sat down on the railing. Esong landed next to her but he didn't sit as she did. He stayed on his foot and looked down at the street she was watching curiously. 

"What is so interesting down there?" he asked her.
