As soon as they arrived at the castle and Esong put her down. Scarlet looked at the servants who were around involved in their different duties.

"Get out." she ordered. 

Abandoning all that they were doing, the maids and two guards scampered away. 

"Seal the doors, Alex." she said. 

The words were barely out of her mouth when Esong grabbed her around the waist and kissed her. 

Their breaths blended and their hearts beat rapidly as the air grew hot and heavy quickly. 

It could have been the anger, the way she questioned the crowd coldly, or the way she dragged her assailant with her mental strength. 

Maybe it was the way she exuded raw unquestionable strength.

Something___ something in her actions had excited him and he needed to have her desperately. 

"You were fucking amazing up there." 

He broke the kiss off, said and kissed her again. There were no more words needed for him to explain what he was feeling.
