Chapter 38: Hiashi Hyuga
Hyuga Hiashi's sudden appearance shocked the Hokage and the two Elders.
Before this meeting started, Hiashi told them he wanted to see his brothers fate himself, so they had allowed him to look into the meeting room with his Byakugan, on the condition that he hides until hidden Cloud leaves.
Hiashi had agreed to that, but they never thought he will go against their orders and appear before their eyes.
Does he not know hidden cloud was still here?!
"Hiashi, why did you show up?"
The Third Hokage sighed, as if Hiashi was a child who made a great mistake, and Hiashi's veins popped even more after hearing that.
This wasn't because of him activating Byakugan, this was from pure rage.
"You are asking me why I showed up? You there were planning to kill my innocent daughter!"
"Was killing my brother not enough for you?! I will not let you do this Sarutobi Hiruzen."
Hiashi growled, he had lost all respect for the third Hokage and refused to call him by his title.
Although the Hokage was still calm, the elders were flustered and argued loudly with Hiashi.
Meanwhile C was watching Konoha's farce with a smile on the side.
'This.. dosen't look right.'
But Sato had a different point of view, as far as he could tell, Hiashi wasn't this brash, his actions seemed a little... Off to Sato.
'Is he emitting hidden killing intent?'
And Yugito was apparently feeling the same way, she was informed by Matatabi that Hiashi was hiding his killing intent towards them.
And she herself was experienced enough to see that he was approaching them, little by little, as if by accident.
'No! He is approaching us on purpose-'
As soon as Yugito thought of this, Sato's eyes shrunk as well, he wasn't as experienced as Yugito was, so he had just figured out what Hiashi wanted to do.
"Look out!"
Sato exclaimed.
*BANG*
And just at that moment, Hiashi ran towards the Cloud team with his gentle fist fighting stance.
*Boom*
His gentle fist attack managed to hit Yugito on her arm, this hit sealed her chakra point and made her arm paralyzed.
*Whoosh*
But sadly for him, Yugito was a jinchuriki, the moment she was hit, Matatabi released her chakra and her chakra point was unsealed.
"Growl!"
Yugito growled and lunged forward, her nails were sharpened like Matatabi's and she was looking very angry.
Her attack was too fast for Hiashi, who didn't seem to be able to react.
He calmly watched her sharp claws coming towards his head and relaxed.
Sato managed to capture this detail and narrowed his eyes
'He gave up resistance! Hiashi didn't dodge on purpose!'
'He wants to die!'
Time was too short for Sato to figure out why Hiashi was acting this way.
He had to stop Hiashi from getting killed, it was extremely important that he doesn't die by Yugito's hands, or she will be the culprit.
"Don't kill him sister!"
Sato exclaimed once again and thankfully, Yugito's attack paused for a second.
If this was anyone else speaking, Yugito wouldn't have stopped, but Sato's voice made her instinctively react.
"You worm."
Although she didn't kill Hiashi because of Sato, she still spat angrily at him and punched him in the stomach.
This punch was having Matatabi's chakra arm behind it, making it capable of crushing rocks.
*Boom*
And it directly hit Hiashi who didn't show any resistance.
"Ack!!"
Hiashi spat blood and his eyes became bloodshot, he fell down on his knees holding his stomach.
Sato watched all this happen and sighed with relief.
All these events happened incredibly quickly, so Hokage and the two Elders who were sitting a bit farther away weren't able to react until now.
"Hiashi! Are you crazy! Do you want to restart the war!"
Elder Homura cried out with real anger behind his voice.
He might be part of the corrupt four of hidden leaf, but this didn't mean he wanted to restart a world war again.
"Sigh.."
"I am disappointed in you Hiashi.."
The Third Hokage sighed with frustration, he was feeling so tired.
All they had to do was kill a little girl and there won't be a war again, why can't Hiashi understand this.
"Ha.. haha, then I am really sorry Hokage sama."
"I couldn't help but attack the hidden cloud, they killed by my brother after all."
Hiashi laughed with blood dripping out of his mouth, he seemed almost dead but he was smiling.
Most people would take it as a helpless smile before death, but Sato sneered at him.
He refused to believe Hiashi had acted on his emotions, he was too quick to give up resistance if that was the case.
This was the look of a man with a plan, and Sato was going to figure out what his plan was.
But he had to remove the Hokage and the elders from this room first, he can't play with Hiashi if they were disturbing his actions.
"Hokage sama, it seems the real culprit has shown up."
Sato smiled cheerfully and walked upto Yugito.
Looking down at the Hyuga leader, Sato twitched his lips.
"Very brave of you, you came out by yourself."
"Sister, I think we should have a good chat with the Hyuga head now."
"He has attacked the hidden cloud twice at this point."
Sato said while looking at the Hokage.
"It would be best if we can speak to him alone, I don't think Hokage sama would want to see us mistreat a member of his Village."
"He might not be able to watch something like that."
Sato smiled gently, his excuse was basically an open demand that they get to talk to Hiashi alone.
Although C and Yugito didn't know why Sato wanted this, they had seen enough to know he was an incredible genius, he must have his reasons.
It didn't take long for them to agree with Sato.
"Yeah, I want to talk to him personally."
*Click*
Cracking her knuckles, Yugito stared at Hiashi, she acted as if hidden cloud wanted to kill Hyuga Hiashi right here and now.
This was what the Hokage thought as well.
He sighed once again and shook his head sadly.
"I see, we will leave, let us know when you are done."
Third was okay with them personally killing Hiashi because they were in Konoha.
They cannot research the secrets of Byakugan from his corpse in the middle of their village, so in the end all they'll get is a pair of Byakugan.
"I'll take care of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi."
"Konoha will remember your heroic sacrifice."
After telling this to Hiashi, the Third walked away with the two Elders and a very quiet Hyuga elder, who was incredibly sad and thus refused to speak.
*Click*
The door to the meeting room closed, and C quickly made some handsigns, putting a seal over the room.
Hiashi looked at everything without emotions, he had already given up on life.
"Hyuga Hinata.. I wonder if Mr Darui managed to kidnap her yet."
But Sato's sudden sentence made Hiashi's eyes shrink instinctively, something which Sato noticed and smiled happily.
He had just lied to gauge Hiashi's reaction, there was no one kidnapping Hinata, but Hiashi didn't know that.
Judging by his reaction to this news and his previous actions, Sato had already figured out what Hiashi's plan was.
