Chapter 44: Direct Assault
On the way to their rapid advance.
With swift hand seals, Naruto shouted, "Shadow Clone Jutsu."
Along with this shout, not only Sakura and Sasuke, who were hiding in the forest, but also Kakashi, who seemed slightly surprised.

Moving figures that appeared abruptly, forming four solid clones alongside Naruto. And because of this, upon seeing Naruto use such an advanced ninja technique, Sasuke couldn't help but feel a sense of shock deep within him.
"Is that the Shadow Clone Jutsu? Looks like I need to be a bit more serious," Sasuke muttered.
They spread out in different directions, charging from all sides with coordinated movements, making it impossible for Kakashi to immediately discern the real Naruto among them. His eyes darted quickly to catch the incoming figures. Kakashi tucked his book away, swiftly pulled out a set of kunai from his leg pouch, and performed a slight crouch in less than half a second.
In that short moment, the five figures rapidly closing in on Kakashi.
In the last segment of their approach.
It seemed like they had prepared in advance.
Their acceleration suddenly increased.
"Hmm!?" Kakashi's face changed suddenly.
Just before he could react.
In the next moment.
A very fine, almost imperceptible sound.
"Hmm?" They seemed to be responding to each other.
The slight vibrations transmitted through the air.
Kakashi's face changed. He was just about to make a move.
"Too late, Kakashi-sensei!"
Not giving Kakashi any time to react, Naruto pulled both his hands horizontally. As if gathered from all directions, an intense and aggressive attack surged toward Kakashi.
In the center.
Kakashi suddenly felt his body tightening, as if by invisible but extremely tough threads, which abruptly became solid and hard.
"Sasuke! This is the moment!"
With tightly clenched fists, Naruto gave the order. Seeing such a great opportunity, Sasuke, who had been concealed in the trees, didn't hesitate. With a swift hand seal in mid-air, he took a step forward and leaped out. Then, in mid-air, he performed rapid hand seals.
In the next moment.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
Completing the seals instantly.
In Sasuke's chest, there was a slight bulge. Accompanied by a deep shout, he blew out forcefully. A massive fireball instantly appeared, ferociously rushing towards Kakashi, who was nearby.

Along with Naruto's shout, a fierce wind suddenly rose.
The wind fueled the flames.
The scorching flames surged once more.
The surrounding heat quickly intensified.
Feeling this intense heat.
Naruto and Sasuke wore grave expressions instead of showing any signs of joy. Instead, they both revealed a very serious look at the scorched pit before them.
