Chapter 56: Zone A

Seraphyne could not remember how the day had ended, but as she slowly awakened, she found herself enveloped in the warmth and strength of the man's embrace. Confusion and a sense of unease washed over her, urging her to seek answers. With a furrowed brow, she turned to her trusted guardian, Babit, and initiated a mind link.

"Babit, what happened yesterday?" she questioned, her voice laced with uncertainty.

The rabbit guardian within her soul space responded, his voice filled with caution and empathy. "Mistress, the second personality of the Alpha, accompanied you throughout the day. He shared meals with you and engaged in double cultivation, but he also attempted to erase his memories within you. I don't know why he made this decision."

Seraphyne's eyes widened in disbelief. "How could he do such a thing? And why? Why would he be willing to erase our memories together? Does he not want me anymore?"
