Elish paused for a moment, looking at Zeke, who also seemed anxious at what Elish was saying. 

His general looked at him with the expression of wariness. He was on his guard, hoping to protect the prince should Elish attempt to do anything to him.

'Why would I do that though? I do not plan on harming Zeke anytime soon.' Elish smirked.

Why? 

Because he was by far one of his most useful pawns in this entire plan and in the ones to come.

"To be honest with you, Zeke was a major catalyst for this entire event which occurred. He kick-started the whole thing when he chose to attack me with the aid of the apostle, Flora," Elish said.

"W-What? Flora?" Lauria gasped.
