Chapter 189: The party and Bai Zhe's counterattack 1 Part I

Bai Zhe and Meng Qing Qing arrived at the hotel's parking lot. When the car was parked, Meng Qing Qing, who was about to get out of the car, had her wrist grabbed by Bai Zhe. She turned to look at him curiously.

"Qing Qing, did you bring along the antidote I once gave you?" asked Bai Zhe.

Meng Qing Qing thought for a short moment before smiling. She put her hand in her small purse and showed Bai Zhe the small medicine bottle.

"You should take it now. I don't really trust events like this," said Bai Zhe. Meng Qing Qing opened the bottle and drank it immediately. It was strange that the medicine was not bitter. It felt more like she was drinking water.

"Tastes like water," said Meng Qing Qing.

"Whatever you think. Drink it in case something happens." Bai Zhe let go of Meng Qing Qing's hand before he opened the door and got out.

Bai Zhe and Meng Qing Qing were not dressed formally because Shu Feng Guang said the event was informal. No press was attending the party.
