Shikera had no idea how she disentangled herself from Ethan's embrace and got out of the house. All she knew was that she met herself at paradise, still reeling from the shock of what happened an hour ago. She thought she had angered Ethan completely and was even already counting the minutes until his patience would deplete completely; but what was that reaction he gave?

"I'm sorry, Honey." His hands had tightened around her body, "I'm so sorry."

She could clearly remember being shocked at that moment to the extent of not being able to reply to his words. Instead, her own hands had subconsciously gone to wrap around his waist.

"I'm grateful you stated your reasons," Ethan had continued, "And Shikera, I'll stop being a boring husband. From now on, I don't dislike babies anymore. You can have as many as you want and you're also free to use me as a babysitter. What else?"
