Chapter 91: BOTOT Award Ceremony 4

Shikera settled in the plush chair beside Ethan, who looked very pleased at the arrangement Kyle had made for them. She glanced around the section, taking note of the dignitaries who were sitting in the area. Though she knew some of them from their frequent appearances on TV, she doubted any of them knew her. She was the backstage reporter, or course, so who would know her?

"It's alright," she heard Ethan reply to Kyle, and she turned to them.

"That's what I thought," Kyle was the one speaking. "I had to remove the light bulb in this area so you can be the one in darkness, while the others are in light. That way, it would be hard for them to see you while you can see all of them."

Ethan looked up to him, a thin smile which Kyle could not see, tugging at his lips.

"You have done well. I would only regret coming here if you don't emerge as the final winner."
