Chapter 2: Chapter 2- Wishes!
Karma Points utilization rules:
1.) The world that the host would choose would greatly differ in how many karma points it would take to ask for a blessing. For example, if the world's power scaling was on extreme ends like Dragon Ball or One Punch Man Universe then normal blessings like breathing technique would cost very few karma points whereas asking for Legendary Saiyan genes and weapons like Longinus of Beginning would cost a little bit more than average. But if the user selects a lower power scaling world like Demon Slayer or Darwin's Game then normal wishes like Supreme Martial art techniques or Sword Art would cost a high amount of Karma points. Asking for Final Flash or weapons like Gae Bolg in a low-power scaling world would cost almost thousands of Karma points.
2.) If the host decides to transmigrate as an already existing character of the world then the Karma points would be charged half if compared to the wish of being added as an original character with distinctive skills. Even though the host chooses a powerful character from a different universe in a lower power scaling world, only a portion of the character's abilities would be granted to the host.
3.) Random selection of the world would cost almost half of specific choosing.
4.) Karma points could be gained through doing great deeds and they could be wasted into nothingness while following the path of evil. Accidental killing could be forgiven but turning into a true antagonist is a no-go. Once all the Karma points are exhausted, the negative karma point would begin to get recorded and after the host dies, the consequences would be decided based on the negative points.
5.) Additional gifts could be purchased with the karma points the host might gain after rebirth.

After reading the rules, Hayato once again looked at the lady before he parted his lips to clear some of his doubts, "If I have to kill thousands to save one whom I truly love...would I be considered a villain?"
The woman nodded without hesitation. Hayato sighed and made a mental note to not get emotionally attached to anyone unless he wasn't prepared to see his report card-like numbers on his karma bar.
"Do you want to choose a world or should I take out a random chit from the ballot box?"
As the woman said, a flash of golden light illuminated beside her before a small rectangular box appeared that had the label stuck to it highlighting, "Random".
Hayato didn't even ponder twice before he made up his mind, "I want to reincarnate into the Jujutsu Kaisen world. "
It was one of the mangas that he had finished from chapter one to the recent chapter. Other than that fiction, he mainly watched anime or read romance yandere mangas which surely wouldn't be an ideal place to reincarnate, given how easily his life would become boring once he accepts the yandere and removes all the death flags.
He better stick with the place which despite being risky and filled with depressing stuff, wouldn't allow Hayato to become a salary slave who does nothing but type shit on the computer all day.
"Ok~ay. Now how about the character?"
As the woman said, his karma bar went from 3000 to 2700
"Hmm...how much would it cost if I choose a specific character from the world of JJK?"
"It depends on the character. Gojo Satoru would be 800 whereas Kugisaki Nobara would be around 100."
Hayato hmm-ed a bit before he began thinking of the most versatile and potential-carrying character from the world who doesn't diverge from the plotline much.
Two names popped up in his head. Okkotsu Yuta and Fusiguro Megumi. Both of them had the potential to become the strongest if only the blindfolds wouldn't have existed.
Yuta Okkotsu could copy techniques but not all of them since he wasn't shown using Infinity or anything related to Gojo's stuff and there was a risk of controlling Rika as well who goes all yandere, from time to time.
Okkotsu had potential and was probably the third strongest character in the verse but Hayato went with...
"Fishiguro Megumi. Umm...he doesn't cost more than Gojo, right? "
"Only 300 points so here we go~"
The Karma bar once again changed as it came down to 2400.
Hayato calmed himself down a bit before he asked the lady, "Can you tell me how much it would take if I asked for complete specialization and control over the techniques Fushiguro Megumi possesses? "
The Ten Shadow technique was Hayato's concern. The reason why Sukuna was so interested in taking Megumi as his vessel and the treasure for which the Zen'in clan could have killed many if not for the man protecting Megumi all those times.
There was domain expansion as well but Hayato was more interested in having full control of The Divine General, Mahoraga.
The woman remained silent for a bit, probably counting the Karma points and such as Hayato waited patiently this time.
After half a minute the woman finally spoke up, "Let me tell you what package I have created. "
Hayato nodded before the woman began counting on her fingers, "First would be physical training and weapon mastery which the original character of Megumi had. You would learn a bit more than him and would get to know how to handle any possible weapon in the world. Some survival skills counted as well. "
"Second would be your control over your domain which doesn't allow Megumi to land a sure hit kill but rather controls his shikigamis inside the domain. I would erase that shortcoming. " Hayato's eyes lit up as he nodded slightly more enthusiastically.
"Third would be complete control over your Shadows. Not only you would be able to summon all and every Shikigami at once and separately but you would be able to command them independently as well. Fusion of Shikigami's abilities like Fushiguro did with his toad and Nue would be up to you. "
Hayato nodded at that, albeit a bit more stiffly this time. But soon the slight gloom was erased as he heard the last advantage.
"You would be able to possess the abilities of your shinigami without physically summoning them. Their traits would be readily available for you to use but under a limitation. You cannot use more than two Shikigami's abilities at once or your Cursed Energy would begin depleting at a furious pace. "
Hayato's eyes beamed this time with elation since this was a major plus point. He would be able to wield the wheel of Mahoraga and the healing abilities of Round Deer while slaying the enemies with his physical attributes. The perfect match!
Seeing such a bright reaction for the first time from Hayato, the goddess sighed inwardly and lowered the price she initially calculated.
"The Karma points required for the abilities is 1000."
Hayato's eyes widened since he believed he had to expend all his points in this deal. He didn't think twice before accepting.
He had now 1400 points remaining. After Hayato calmed down, he asked the goddess something he had been concerned about since the time he wished to be reincarnated in the jujutsu world.
"Umm..is there any ability that could help me dominate any domain and nullify jujutsu?"
Mahito and Gojo Saturo was his primary concern. Even though Gojo wouldn't be an enemy of Hayato in the new world it was uncertain what might transpire later on. And that blue-haired bastard with the ability to transfigure any soul he touched was a major drawback if that bastard touched Hayato before he could use Mahoraga's skills.
"Hmm...Divine protection... let's call it that. It would cost you 800 points which would help you nullify any jujutsu technique at a time and break any domain until you have even an ounce of Curse energy remaining. "
Hayato frowned slightly before he asked, "What's with the one technique restriction? Would I be able to nullify a single kind of technique?"
The goddess, fortunately, shook her head and said with a smile, "You would be able to abolish a single technique at one time. Like if Gojo Satoru attacks you with his Red and Mahito soon after, until you have a conscience of what you are facing, it would be subdued. But yeah, if both of such tremendous sorcerers attack you at once...it might get nasty. "
Hayato was a bit contemplative about this decision. Not only the said two characters but there were many others as well whom he would need to look out for. For example, Kenjaku and Sukuna.
'Hmm...I can earn points by saving lives as well...'
Just to be sure he asked the goddess about the gains and got to know that it depends on an individual whom Hayato saves. Based on the person's deeds Hayato might gain up to hundreds of Karma points from a single pure soul. It never gives negative marks but if he goes to save someone like Jogo then Hayato would earn not a single cent.
He made up his mind, "I accept. Please grant me the divine protection. "
"Alright~In addition, I would grant you water and heat resistance to a certain degree as well. Underwater breathing is no problem for you now~"
Well, that's surely a great addition...Hayato muttered to himself.
"Now you have only six hundred points remaining. Would you like another wish or save it for later?"
"Will I get a shop option after transmigration?" Seeing the deity nodding, Hayato said, "Then I would save it up for later. "
"Alright then...you would be sent to a different domain for training where you would understand your new abilities and get used to a different kind of surrounding. If things go as I have predicted then the next time we meet, you will be wearing a more radiant smile on your face. Until then~"
Hayato's vision blurred and the next thing he faced was nothing but hell.
