Very interesting story I was listening to it on pocket fm I was very disappointed to find there were issues behind the reason it stopped releasing episodes so I came here the ai voices aren’t as good as the real one but it’s not horrible either I truly hope the issues can be figured out I really enjoys the pocket fm voicer
Let me say this is a mixed bag, specially at the beginning of the story. The MC is very confusing, erratic, unstable, and not likeable at all. Even villains from other novels are more likeable than the MC at the beginning of this novel. However if you can stomach his rants and atrocious behavior, his personality does improve and the author does explain why the MC has what sounds like is PTSD. Here are other negatives, for as old as the MC is supposed to be and life lessons he learned, he sure doesn't always think things completely through (at least at the beginning of the story). Later on I do admit the author seems to correct this and provides an attempt at explaining why he act so irrational all the time. One last thing, that Simyon friend has got to be the most ridiculous character I've read in the hundreds of novels I've read. I mean come on, nearly 800 chapters in and the guy still admits the only thing he can do is be a punching bag for everyone as his skill. Please give him some other skill than "Hey that's my role, to get my arse kicked every time and force the whole team to try to save me because I don't know anything outside of being a meat shield". Now the positive aspects. Writing itself is excellent. I think bringing two different systems in one story is actually pretty well done so far. I can see a clear direction even though sometimes the fights may remind me of DBZ where it never ends but so be it.
Sadly, another book where this author fails to give the MC a personality, nor does the MC build meaningful bonds with other characters, or do any characters grow off of each other (besides strength/power/abilities). It’s a great world, and author tells a good story, but the characters are one dimensional and never evolve—no matter what happens to them. They all end the same as they began, but with more strength/power/abilities.
Amazing book just loved it! Hits all the perfect areas of fantasy novel. Magic and warriors.
leave a very bad taste, I know the MC is crazy and has no morality, but letting your own family being bullied and find a self-justified to not coming to her defend is just... I didn't know how to explain that in word or sentence, she's only 10yo girl and you expect her to fend off for herself?? that just just stupidity in creativity and a flaw in concept of making a story or background story[img=faceslap]

ok it's alright in terms of a cultivation novel. I'd say it's like a classic cultivation but highly westernized, clearly part of the mvs universe which if you have read mvs should be obvious. but I have a problem with it. there is tones of lore and exposition which if fine and dandy if implemented correctly but it's not and that's my issue. see I just read a bit of Shadow slave and Shadow slave goes above and beyond on implementing lore and exposition with violence, power building, and character development. here we get those things but characters get introduced then forgotten fairly quickly, sometimes outright killed. but the big issue is when we're at the final boss of an arc and we get 100+ chapts catching up each character and getting backstory during what is supposed to be the final obstacle of the arc. like during the faction tournament you had the ability to go over all the characters and implement them showing off their growth but then we get more backstory on a character who disappeared right as the final fight is starting. we could have done this before the tournament then had him show up there so I was sitting on the edge of my seat hyped up when he starts throwing hands but instead he appears out of thin air and then we get his boring growth arc. then the villains backstory which makes me wonder, why? the stakes would have been much higher if that was also introduced before the arc so that we could root for another side character who is just a creep. I would have loved the depth but instead not I'm supposed to root for this creepy side character for ten seconds because his backstory was neglected. if you like constant cliffhangers it's a good book and honestly it's not a bad one but it makes me realize that the authors writing style is about spending coins so If your rich have a blast if your not read Shadow slave, mvs, or even supreme magus all of these are good and if your using this app they should be some of the first novels you put your coins into. they all have flaws mvs being like this one but at least it's finished. for the record it's pretty good in terms of the cultivation power structure and I have been enjoying it but maybe don't spend your coins until it's finished.

the author does a terrible job in every novel because of the terrible fl. There is a ridiculous marriage in this novel too. If the marriage is only political and they will break up in the future, I will continue. Please give me spoilers. I saw that their wedding would happen. Please don't have this unnecessary love interest.🤢🤮

I don't even need to read to give him all 5 stars, my first online novel was my dragon system and then my vampire system an all his books have basically been giving me hope, Don't you ever stop writing Jks, i'm too much in love with your books. pls, keep giving your supporters more joy ☺ and ignore all those bad reviews, they don't know what true art is. Thank you sooooooo much for the other books.

I just want to get inside your brain and see how it works, you are so brilliant at coming up with such amazing story ideas. Every novel you write is just as good, you never disappoint me.
the story plot is good, i think he is trying link pagna world or more likely divine world with various other places and what not but thats not the point as mentioned earlier plot is good and writing can be better coz there are some mistakes like as first ricktor was murkels grandson but later he became murkels son the major wrong in this story is the power level of the characters and it is the same problem in all of JKS novels
I mean writing is good but the story just sucks the mc is just too in human and just dumb as F imagine the guy just healed a guy even though he doesn't have any qi infont of many people too thats just dumd thinking and also the story just doesn't seem appealing I've read alot of mtl that much better story than this even though the writing sucks but atleast it make me wanna just keep reading it but this nah the story is too boring and the story progression is just too damn slow
The story elements are very good, the story itself could have been far better. The biggest disappointment is the MC. The character of MC doesn't make sense. It feels like there is a misunderstanding of how psychology of a mage works, especially an old one with supreme powers, yet the character of the MC is made to behave like a reckless teenager instead of one that has already live a life of a Supreme magician. I initially expected it to be a momentary decision to make MC behae like this, but when you pass 100 chapters and MC is still behaving that doesn't make any sense, then there is something wrong with the story and character setting itself. Maybe take reference from 'Warlock of the Magus World' on the psychology of an antihero magician.

Generic cultivation slop. MC is "Dark Magus", an old man around 80, who is isekaied into a teenager. Seems like the author was going for some edgy, dark MC hell bent on revenge, but the MC comes across as a capricious, self-righteous child. It started off interesting but fell off disappointingly.
why is he mentally stupid why when he can get a stronger body by practicing but still doesn't do it he clearly to slow to fight someone any one faster than him can kill him
