Chapter 486: In Disbelief

"I hope these are tears of joy," Pa hugged me tightly as I struggled to breathe against his chest. 

I looked up at him and hiccuped as I quickly nodded then gave him a shaky smile. "I- I'm in disbelief."

His smile was so bright that I believed my own mirrored it. His bright blue eyes filled with tears then he kissed the top of my head before he engulfed me in his strong arms, "You're finally having your day Demyan." His words would have made me fall from the pure disbelief of everything they had just told me but I was luckily seated that all I did was slack in my seat. 

"You're not pranking me," I wiped my tears from my cheeks as Dad was the next to grab me. 

"I think all of us would know to never prank you like that unless we were happy with dying," he chuckled before he planted kisses all over my face.
