"Won't your father's friend try to intercept me if he figures out what I'm there to do?" I looked down at the invitation written in gold. I was lucky enough it allowed a plus one and I knew Vasilisa would have landed by then which helped me greatly since I would not be forced to walk down a red carpet alone. 

"There will be too many journalists at the party. He won't want to stir up any commotion and I will tell him it is simply you wanting Pratchett to help you with a deal. He won't suspect a thing."

I nodded before I ran the tip of my tongue over the bottom of my top row of teeth. "Well then I will talk to him. If he agrees to give full disclosure to the company, I will study them and if I find them worthy of Edward's time I will present it to him. In return, if we are successful, I will make you Co-Ceo with someone close to me."
