Chapter 256: Twenty-First Century

Once Igor and I had finished off our dinner we headed to the more private VIP bar strictly reserved for him on a floor above the restaurant. He smoked a cigar as we went through a few documents with his assistant frantically running around. 

I had left Vasilisa to work with Igor's team at his offices because once there was a woman around Igor forgot all inhibitions and solely focused on them. 

"So have you thought about what your investors might say about this affair?" he blew out a puff of smoke before he took a sip of his gin and tonic. 

"I don't even want to start thinking about it honestly," I leaned back on the couch as I had a file spread across my thighs. "Cameron warned me about it the other day."

He hummed as he closed his eyes, "The grandfather, no?"

"Yes."
