Chapter 200: In The Forest

I sat at the kitchen table as I looked around in confusion. The once highly decorated house was becoming empty as boxes spanned each and every corner. Rolls of bubble wrap were nearly in every room with newspapers as well. To me it looked like they were in the middle of moving which made no sense to me. 

Pa poured us each a glass of lemonade before he sat down in front of me with an exhausted huff, "You're probably wondering what's going on."

I nodded, "Deeply."

He hummed as he ran his fingers through his shoulder length peppercorn hair then reached over to hold my hand between his two large ones, "I have decided to move to Italy with Sasha."

"What?" I gasped, "Why?"

"Well I just found out my son is tenth richest man it seems a little stupid now to slave myself to a farm that doesn't give me much anymore," he chuckled, "I'm too old for this."

"Are you selling it?" I was worried.
