Chapter 125: For How Long?

"Of course," Dad sat up with Pa as they put their wine glasses down, probably sensing from my posture that it was going to be a serious talk.

"Come, come Demdem," Pa patted a space between them and raised the fluffy blanket covering them. 

I let out a shaky breath and cuddled between them as they covered me with the blanket and both held me. 

"Is this to do with why you've been slightly distant?" Pa softly smiled as he brushed my hair behind my ears and kissed my temple. 

"And you aren't sleeping or eating?" Dad kissed the side of my head and looked at me with that concerned parent smile. 

I gulped, surprised they had noticed this whole time but were waiting for me to come clean to them. They had always been like that, it was their way to teach us that we should have the confidence to express ourselves without being pushed. That we were to get comfortable to express ourselves without external factors affecting us.
