When Demyan opened his eyes and looked into mine, his blue eyes were glossed over that they looked like glass. The tip of his nose had turned red and I knew he was about to cry which made me smile softly, "Why do you want to cry?"

"Because I really want to see a baby version of you," he choked back a sob before he hugged me tightly. 

I rubbed my hands up and down his back as I let out a small chuckle, "Baby, I know I'm the picture of handsomeness but you don't need to cry."

"I really would want him or her to have your hair," he sniffed. 

"It's straight," I shook my head, "I would want them to have your hair."

He shook his head, "There's too many of us that look like Pa."

"Uncle Ed loves that about you."

He rolled his eyes after he had quickly wiped away his tears, "That's why we're his little babies, it's sickening."
