She indeed needed to fulfill that promise. Falkor ate like a starving child. devouring the bowl with relish never seen before. She however, on the other hand did not want anything to do with the food. They looked as if the monsters of Lordran were stewed in a jar of mud.
Selph too was viewing it in disgust. She however felt embarrassed whenever Selph would stop in front of a building and stare at it while making comments about it. However, she learnt a few more things about the two eternal ones.
it was that they loved gambling. They were beings who existed before time and existence itself. They knew about almost anything in existence. However, even the like of eternal ones did not know when the concept of luck existed. As such, they loved gambling.
"90% of gamblers quit before winning." was their moto. They would go in and out of casinos carrying large bags of chips with no shame or caution. She supposes caution was something they did not need when they could easily raze everything to the ground.
There was also another thing she loved personally. It was transport and she found out on Earth that she liked the vehicle called the motorcycle. She personally participated in some small competitions on this planet. She loved the transportation part of civilization.
However, personally her favorite sport has to be combat. She especially like boxing which caused her to participate in some cage fights. She even earned the title 'Queen of the Ring' which impressed the two eternal ones with how cool the title sounded.
Meanwhile, Thor on the other hand was now starting to hate fighting. Last time she checked, his hair has been cut off. It made him look more handsome. Loki on the other hand was less impressive as all she could see was him sitting in a room with his eyes closed.
Wanda was clearly having the most fun out of all her little ones. Although it was hard for her, it was apparent that disturbing other people by changing reality itself is a very positive motivation factor for her.
Quill's group on the other hand ran out of currency a few days later and are now following along the two eternal ones shamelessly living of their gambling money. Both Selph and Falkor did not mind it in anyway. After all, the concept of money was far too beneath them.
So far, since the moment she came to this world, this was the happiest moments for her. It was nice to have a relaxing moment off after being busy for years. And mostly it was raining. Even on this planet it still rains. The rain washed away all the sins she might have. She truly loved the rain.

[Marco POV]
.
He hated the rain. It will never be able to wash away his sins. And whenever it rained it wash away the blood if he uses to mask his smell. Now, he is back to the hunter's workshop in the nightmare.
'What in the blood of old ones is the formless Oedon?', he wondered. He has hunted down the great old one that was left behind the lake before descending into the nightmare. In there, he met Gehrman. He learnt the hard way that the only thing his two teachers shared was the name.
One was a jolly good gentleman who knew how to love. The other was bitter hard old man being drowned alive in his own nightmare. He also learnt that in this realm of nightmare, he was probably the last hunter that came from the waking world.
Every time he hunted down beasts and use their blood, he saw the rune named formless Oedon. He learnt many things from this new Gehrman. Among them included what is called the Caryll runes. It is said to be discovered by scholars as the language of the old ones.
That was how powerful the great old ones who ascended were. Their mere words were enough to turn humans into equals with the beasts and strengthen the iron and blood that made their weapons.
He had learnt the many great old ones that exists. And among them, the most mysterious was Oedon. How was he supposed to slay an existence that did not even had a form.
Supposedly, the moon presence who created the hunter's dream was said to be rivals with Odeon.
He also learnt of the three types of Great Ones. There were true great ones, fake great ones and finally the failed great ones.
The failed great ones that can observed even in the living world. Although they looked like nightmare fuels, they had a physical form and thus easier to hunt.
Other than being stronger than beasts, they were simply stronger and bigger or more numerous depending on what type they were. He had slayed many failed great ones before.
Failed great ones like the living failures and the One Reborn were simply attempts made by humanity to ascend to the same plane as the great ones themselves.
However, humanity was not useless. The scholars of Byrgenwerth and the followers of the Healing Church have indeed failed in their attempts at ascension on multiple accounts. But they succeeded a number of times in creating beings known as fake great ones or kin.
The Kin are human beings who managed to successfully understand the eldritch truth -- often by being in contact with or graced by a Great One. There are Kins like Rom the Vacuous Spider, the Celestial Emissary, and Ebrietas.
The main differing factor between the two is that true Great Ones bleed red while Kin bleed yellow when struck thus allowing the scholars to determine that they have yet to ascent to realm of the true Great Ones.
True Great Ones however were in an entirely different realm. It may dismay hardworking hunters, but whenever they "slay" a Great One, they actually haven't killed a mighty, supreme being. Instead, they are only destroying their physical forms in the waking world.
After all, Great Ones exist across multiple planes of existence. When you kill their physical forms, they simply return to the cosmos. There are some beings like the Orphan of Kos who appeared to be trapped within the waking world unable to return to the cosmos.
Oedon is a Great One who is unable of taking a physical form. The reason for this is unknown, but it is speculated that Oedon is a Great One who is of a higher plane of existence.
He is worshipped throughout Yharnam and a number of citizens in the city possess a rune of Oedon. There's even a chapel in Cathedral Ward dedicated to him. His mother owned a rune of Oedon that he still held.
It is believed that Oedon is responsible for imbuing the old blood healing capabilities which is why he is so worshipped in Yharnam.
Despite being beings of a higher stature, the Great Ones are said to "sympathetic in nature." After the scholars of Byrgenwerth massacred the inhabitants of the Fishing Village, they prayed to Kos to curse the hunters, and she listened by creating Hunter's Nightmare.
It is also believed that the reason why various Amygdala are scattered all throughout Yharnam so they can hear the prayers of those who worship them.
Speaking of which, an Amygdala is a lesser Great One. A number of them are scattered all throughout Yharnam and in the tomb of the gods.
They also have the ability to transport a hunter from the waking world to a different realm. The Amygdala is the most worshipped beings in Yharnam. There is a profusion of statues dedicated to them in the city.
It was all very complicated, but it came naturally to him. There was also a difference between the hunter's dream created by the Moon Presence and the hunter's nightmare created by Kos.
Hunters that are in the nightmare are trapped there. You couldn't get to the Hunter's Nightmare without having the eye of the blood drunk hunter which meant that any hunter who has gone drunk with blood or probably simply mad are transported to the nightmare as punishment.
Hunters of the dream on the other hand are normal hunters where they can come and go to the waking world and die endlessly whereas those trapped in the nightmare cannot leave whatsoever.
However, they could still be trapped in the nightmare by the Amygdala once they get drunk on blood. So, he always made sure to never go too far whenever he hunts down beasts. And next, he will try to take on a true great one and see if he can at least slay their physical form.
