Without delay, Rizz chugged the rest of his tea. 

"What's the state of Mroebo's external affairs? In particular, what connections or disconnections does Mroebo have with Wassek and Wissal?"

He happily passed the wooden cup forward to have his host offer him a refill.

In turn, Mira filled the cup and gently passed it back across the table. 

"Mroebo maintains cordial ties to the outside world mostly through business between leading tribes and foreign businesses. 

"There aren't many direct dealings between Mroebo as a nation and the neighboring kingdoms. If anything, I presume that neither side wishes for that to change. 

"Such dealings would strengthen Mroebo as a nation. But it would empower the governing councils themselves rather than the beastfolk tribes, which no tribe wants. Also, such dealings might influence foreign kingdoms in ways that many royals wouldn't support.
