More fliers and wooden signs were plastered outside and posted around town. Anyone with a reputation to uphold or muscles to feed showed up with high expectations. Yet, somehow, those expectations suddenly felt all too easy to satisfy as steak after steak rolled through the kitchen doors and onto the dining tables. 

The next time the front door opened, light from the late afternoon sun cast a droopy-eared shadow into the entryway.

Nodding, the goblin waved to the Morlinda, shouting, "Are they done yet?" 

"No, but almost." The youngest boarkin daughter grabbed a pile of empty plates and scooted past the entryway. "And if you're looking for Big Bro, he's still missing. We haven't seen him since the night of your fight."
