Chapter 27: CP : 27 - Underground Prison #3
On the way back, I had been listening to Erka. Erka hadn't shared anything significant, but I needed to reward his efforts.
I took out a few silvers and handed them to him. I was already planning to loot the entire town again tonight, so the money I spent in town would be multiplied many times over.
"Thank you for everything, Erka." I handed him a few more silvers, as I was in a good mood.
"Thank you so much, sir!" Erka was starting to think this was the best day of his life.
I locked the door to the cabin as soon as I entered. I closed the curtains on the windows.
"System, everything is ready. Please signal Elly and the others to start making the tunnel."
I had given the signal for Elly and the others to build the part of the tunnel that reached my cabin.
After about 15 minutes, everything was ready. I started crawling through the tunnel slowly. It was very narrow and stuffy. I don't need to mention that the tunnels were pitch dark.
The narrowness of the tunnel was slowing down my progress. But I was aware that I needed to be fast.
After about 30 minutes of crawling, I finally reached the end of the tunnel.
It was my first time entering the dungeon. Immediately to my left, there was a long staircase leading upwards. Most likely, it led to the inside of the town.
On the right, there was a long corridor. I tried to quickly pass through the corridor because there was a disgusting smell. I had no idea what was the source of this smell.
In my opinion, the prisoners in the cells on both sides of the corridor were sick. The smell was truly unbearable.
After passing through the corridor, there was another staircase going down.
To be honest, in my old world, I would never go to a place like this.
The stairs were covered with moss. Was it so humid here? Finally, I passed the stairs as well.
"Water?"
Yes, at the end of the stairs, there was water. In the middle of the water, there were two capsules. One contained the Dragon Heart.
I didn't know what was inside the other one. I was afraid to enter the water because it could be deep, and I didn't know what was inside it. Also, after I obtained the heart, a trap could be triggered.
I took a deep breath and entered the water. The water wasn't deep. I ran quickly. I quickly broke the capsule that contained the Dragon Heart.

I had reached the corridor where the cells were.
