As the sudden end to the mock battle left the stadium in confusion, Ichiro, along with many others, wore a dumbfounded expression. The murmur and whispers among the spectators added to the perplexity, leaving the crowd puzzled about why both Ichiro and Hikari had seemingly given up so abruptly.

Turning to Emi, who appeared unruffled by the turn of events, Ichiro sought answers. "Don't tell me this is just an act?" he questioned, his instincts sensing that something was amiss.

"Hmm, clever of you to notice," Emi complimented Ichiro's perceptiveness. She confirmed that everything had indeed been a carefully orchestrated act. "As you know, Hikari comes from a prestigious family. Her cousin is even worse than her. I mean, we're friends and all, but trust me, Hikari wasn't even showing her best."
