Heroes And Heroines

As I lost myself in thought, the classroom door swung open with a thunderous slam.

Astonishingly, it was none other than the female lead, dressed in the striking cadet uniform consisting of a black mini skirt, thigh-high socks, a black shirt, and a black blazer adorned with golden trim and a crimson inner lining. Her jet-black hair, fashioned into a ponytail, flowed gracefully down her back as she entered, slightly out of breath.

Her skin boasted a mesmerizing smoothness that turned every head in the room, and when paired with her exquisite facial features, she appeared truly angelic. However, her most captivating feature undoubtedly resided in her crystal-like golden eyes, akin to precious gemstones.

"Simply beautiful," were the only words that escaped my lips.

Her entrance caused a stir among the boys, who couldn't help but be captivated by her natural charm.

At the same time, the girls felt a twinge of jealousy. Unaffected by the noise, she made her way to the first seat in the third row, immediately engrossing herself in a book.

Among the onlookers, many boys admired her, and a few even gathered the courage to approach. However, her distant demeanour discouraged any direct interactions.

This mysterious figure was Anna Presley, the daughter of Reward Presley, renowned as the guild master of the 'Death Ruler' guild, currently holding the esteemed position as the number one guild in the human domain.

With my focus shifting away from Anna, I cast my gaze upon another noteworthy character in the third row.

Seated before Anna was a girl who concealed her face behind a mask.

Introducing Trisha Clarkson—daughter of Lark Clarkson, the esteemed leader of the world's most powerful mercenary group, 'Night Hunter.' The importance of 'Night Hunter' would soon become evident in the novel, and Trisha herself would have plenty of time in the spotlight.

With a sigh, I observed, "She indeed maintains the air of mystery I so vividly portrayed in the novel, though it's not her doing."

Trisha had a dual role, playing the second female lead and the romantic interest of the main antagonist, Ambos Dilhadia. Due to their families' close connection, they had frequent visits, nurturing a deep friendship that later blossomed into romantic love.

As time passed, their bond grew stronger, surpassing mere friendship. The turning point came when Ambos gathered the courage to confess his feelings, and Trisha readily accepted. Their relationship was formalized with the blessings of their parents, given their well-acquainted families.

Concerning her mask, most people assumed it hid some form of imperfection. However, the truth was that Trisha wore it out of shyness, revealing her face only to Ambos. In reality, her beauty was enchanting, with a physique resembling that of an hourglass.

In the second row, a half-elf boy named Aeron Saath possessed emerald hair and soft violet eyes. His mixed heritage blessed him with natural good looks, characterized by fair skin and delicate features that drew the admiration of many surrounding maidens. I couldn't help but acknowledge, "Well, he's reasonably attractive, I suppose…"

Aeron Saath's destiny awaited as a future war hero, a source of pride for humanity.

Slightly behind him, a brown-haired youth engrossed himself in a book. While his charm didn't quite match Aeron's or my own, he still possessed a fair degree of attractiveness for a half-dwarf.

This individual was none other than Elon Slarov, another future war hero destined to be the saviour of the dwarven race. His dedication to learning was evident as he delved into a book on mana beasts' anatomy right from his first day at the academy.

Just a few seats ahead sat a human boy with long white hair neatly tied into a bun. His tall, well-built stature conveyed a perpetually stern expression.

Let me introduce Rex Williamson, credited with saving the protagonist's life in a crucial incident.

Despite his strong ego and rough language, Rex was counted among the 'good guys' due to his kind and forgiving heart.

Unfortunately, it was this very kindness that led to his tragic end during the first war.

"Huh.." I sighted. "If only he could controls his arrogance, he could have been more better and smarter. "

Moving on to the second row, we have Evelyn Stoneheart.

She was Morley Stoneheart's daughter, known as the guild master of the 'Sword Dimensions' guild, currently holding the second most influential position in the human domain.

Her cold demeanour and her father's reputation kept most people at a distance.

However, what truly set Evelyn apart was her uncanny ability to survive the direst situations in the most nonsensical and comical ways.

"I am sorry. "

Reflecting on how I portrayed her, I couldn't help but regret the sense of hopelessness I often associated with her character. It was a decision I now deeply lamented as I saw her a few rows ahead.

Evelyn's character had transcended its origins as a mere joke; she was now a living part of this world, and my sense of responsibility weighed heavily.

In the first row, the spotlight shone on two pivotal characters.

To the left stood Ambos Dilhadia, the principal adversary of the main character and one of the academy's most formidable students.

In the far-left corner, the protagonist of "Era Of Heroes," Lux, awaited his destiny as the one fated to reshape the world. Strangely, he appeared fast asleep, provoking a stir within the classroom.

Amidst the students' enthusiastic exclamations, a common sentiment echoed: "She's exceptionally beautiful."

My thoughts shifted from the protagonist to the classroom commotion, as boisterous students expressed their excitement.

This was thanks to their anticipation of having Christine Sherwood, renowned as the Ice Enchantress, as their classroom teacher. Achieving the rank of A mage at a mere 20 years old, she was also believed to harbour the potential for an SS ranking. Her mastery of Ice magic, combined with her enchanting beauty, earned her the title of Ice Enchantress. Her hair resembled freshly fallen snow, and her eyes glistened as black as coal, mirroring her chilly demeanour.

With an exclamation of admiration, I couldn't help but mutter, "She's exceedingly beautiful."
