Chapter 107: Chapter 1 "Growing Numbers"

"CAAWK!" The cry of an enemy resembling a crow filled the sky.

Anyone near the battlefield could see how much the poor bird was hurting, with half of its wing being maimed, barely hanging onto the rest of its shoulder. Even though it is on the verge of hitting the ground, it still tries its best to deflect any incoming attack with its other wing.

*Clank!*

*Stab!*

Few bolts were deflected as it hit the bird's steely feather, while some made their way through to its exposed flesh.

"CAAWK CAAWK!" The giant crow cried once again, voicing its agony as the bolts crushed the bones in its wings.

"Now would be the best time for you to burn that thing alive, Joki!" The Shieldbearer in red yelled from across the battlefield.

"Shut your mouth! I want to taste it's meat!" Joki replied while running toward the giant bird.
