His Visit

"Aunt Rina, is it really okay for me to sleep beside you and Venedict?" Venice asked Rina almost for the second time, as she was worried that perhaps Rina and Venedict felt obliged to let her sleep next to them.

"Yes, it's okay, Venice. I told you that you're welcome here in my room, so for the meantime while you're staying with us, you can sleep here if it helps you sleep better," Rina reassured her as she lay down, placing Venice on her left side while Venedict was already asleep on her right.

"Okay, hehe," Venice said happily, but her expression quickly changed as she remembered her dad.

"Uhm, Auntie Rina, I miss Dad. Do you think he remembers me? He hasn't even called you to check on me," Venice said with a pout.

"Uhm... maybe your dad is still busy, especially with what happened to Lucas. He might also have double the workload now that he doesn't have an assistant," Rina said.
