Chapter 678: Success arrives on the wings of failure

One minute, Kai Syaoran was still watching the history of the wasteland and in so doing, he was watching the history of the Forever Devils and in the next minute, he was in a dark cold warm place surrounded by a liquid he could not identify.

He began panicking since he did not know what was going on. For a minute, he kicked and struggled until he realized that he was too weak to do anything. He then realized that he did not even have any limbs meaning that his so-called kicks were nothing but his pointless struggles.

He stopped panicking since this would evidently yield nothing to his benefit.

He examined himself and the more he learned about his current state, the more he understood that something had gone very wrong during his breakthrough. Something he could not have anticipated had happened and he was now in a place he could not make heads or tails of.
