Chapter 638: Creating the Ice Spirit Form

Kai Syaoran saw the young man he was interested in, fleeing like the wind but he did nothing. He just continued watching everything in a calm manner that betrayed nothing of his thoughts.

The ice worms made quick work of the young man's forces and in a few minutes, only corpses were left on the battlefield.

The only people to have been spared were the slaves in the cages. This was because they made Kai Syaoran remember his time as a slave. He could empathize with these creatures and in their eyes, he could see the same kind of rage and fear that had been in his eyes before he had gained control over most of his emotions.

In the distance, the young man felt the deaths of all his men and this gave him even more motivation to run faster than any of his ancestors ever had.

Usually, the Death Eaters were the one doing the chasing and not the other way round. As he fled for his life, he cursed everything between heavens and earth.
